anyone hear from Hash? extremely worried for his welfare

Post by SplitDik (imported) »

Anyone hear from Hash in the last two weeks?

He was a very prolific poster , especially on topic of penectomy and then he was posting about his progress on a "slow penectomy" where he was cutting it off with small steps. But his latest cut caused extra bleeding then he stopped posting. It is very uncharacteristic and I'm very worried.

Is anyone in contact with him? Can an administrator check to confirm whether he has logged in recently?

Hash if you read this please write something to let us know you're okay!

I posted that once already in the "Slow Penectomy" thread.

Hash was on the site today, April 30th. Maybe he has nothing to say at the moment.

You can find out when an EA user was last on the EA by looking at the user's profile. Just click on the user's name on a message or in the master user list. The user's profile is one of the choices.

This is not correct. The logs clearly show April 9th as last time this account was accessed.

What of Transward, too.

Another regular rarely to be found, and not for a long time.

We've had a number of "regulars" drop out since we discontinued the political forum.

Moi,

I seriously doubt if anyone who is regular on this site would appreciate the staff trying to keep tabs on them.

Your comment is pointless, not to mention idiotic.

The vast majority of us are here under a veil of anonymity. EA exists as a safe, private and public forum for us very special people to come and go and find support, help advice and even fantasy and fiction.

The dilemma is that there people who by their postings draw a following and there is no doubt that there is some very good caring support going on. When we go off the radar, especially when we are prone to doing extreme things. Others worry. It is human nature.

However, we have to accept that this is place where we all wear a mask and we may choose not to reveal to another soul who and where we really are.

When I attempted to castrate myself, I had 3 other people on line that I have met either here or elsewhere who were on line and available in case I needed to call an ambulance.

I would imagine, that others do the same and we may never know this.

Perhaps, we should in our connection to others intent on self surgery advise them to have a support blanket for the 911 situation.

It also needs to be emphasised that if we poke and pry too much when someone falls off the radar we will destroy the confidence that people have found in coming here in the first place.

The problem is we are human, caring and we worry......

Sorry but that is not really true for many here. Me and many others know people here personally. I have visited the actual homes of three people from the archive. There is an actual gathering.

For many the EA is a support group, and in particular a place to help navigate our obsessions SAFELY.

I didn't really ask for any information about Hash except "can anyone confirm he's safe". All we need to know is whether he has PMed someone, or logged in.

Internet anonymity can be important, but doesn't trump life and death safety or criminal reporting.

Go into profile, the information about last visit is there.

In the left hand column, there is the line "Last activity" written in bold font.

The reason I'm particularly worried about Hash is that he was very specifically right in the middle of chopping off his penis and having some trouble controlling the bleeding in his last postings.

While I generally wonder about anyone who might be missing, Hash in particular was prolifically posting on same threads as I and right in the middle of a dangerous activity when all posts (and last login) stopped completely.

I seriously doubt that anyone who is reasonably healthy to start with would die from having their penis cut off. I know of someone who banded and then cut his penis off and then had the band slide off. They were able to hold pressure and stop the bleeding. They went to sleep and the next morning decided to go the ER and have things sutured up properly. There have been numerous other accounts of guys loosing their penises and surviving. Hash was pretty well prepared and had a good supply of WounsSeal and sutures on hand. As long as he remained conscious, I'm sure he would be able to control the bleeding long enough to get medical attention.

I am trying to be optimistic and hoping to see him show up again one of these days. I certainly miss chatting with him also!

The question of whether someone is alive or not is not usually considered a private matter. If he is in a psych ward, on vacation, or sitting depressed in his basement, that's not necessarily any of our business. It sounds, however, like no one here actually knows him well enough to find out either way. We shall have to wait and hope for the best.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls.

It tolls for thee.....

-It matters how is Hash. Yes he needs privacy, and probably many things too.

That he is one of us, is the the important thing.

His wellbeing seems unknown and there seems to be good cause to doubt that all is well.

I don't like the idea of giving up on anyone.

If he is genuinely unknown to any here and is wholly unreachable by any means, there may be not be many options.

-But we thought a prayer would not go amiss, whatever else.
