Surgically at two different operations. 2007 and 2010. Orchialgia was the diagnosis/ reason for the surgery.
3. If
2007 I was 29 and finally in 2010 I was 32
Yes, it was a motivating factor to have the remaining testicle removed in 2010. My wife had an abdominal hysterectomy in May of the same year. In her case that was the left ovary, uterus, tubes and cervix.
We both wanted more.
Obviously. That was a major issue for me. My wife told me repeatedly to divorce her to find a younger woman to have more children with. Being completely sterile took away that temptation/ option.
No, not an option here anyway.
Only if my wife were to die in the next 10 years.

Yes, although I'm jumping the gun by regretting something that hasn't yet happened.
I'm not that worried about fertility, honestly. Why?

Anything we can do to a rat we can do to a human being, and we can do damn near anything to rats.
Edit: I have had enough health issues - truly vexing, but not life threatening - that I would certainly use "designer baby" technology to spare my kids that same mess. I'd just as soon make sperm cells from a digitized genome tweaked for intelligence, charisma, and a lack of genetic disease. Everyone has, on average, six lethal recessive mutations, but I'd rather they didn't start playing that lottery with a disadvantage.

10 characters is a VB feature, we just have to deal with it.
Sorry.
For those wondering, this survey will be used by your favorite resident "deity".
Some loophole with some silly rule, you see. If another Admin here "relays" the data to him, it's much easier to do the study.
Thank you all for your support.
(Well, that didn't come out like I planned it to!)

For having children it is in anyway too late, I can't be the right father anymore for the education that a child needs. A possible infertility does not play any negative role in connection to castration, on the contrary it would be to my opinion an advantage of castration. Infertility belongs for me to the identity of being a Eunuch.

I find it interesting that fewer than one in four of the regular Eunuch Archive members who have read this thread have bothered to answer the questions. This is one more small step in trying to bring the needs of the community to the attention of medical professionals....
