Noticing castration changes

Post by erikboy (imported) »

Question to those who are chemically or surgically castrated, has any of your friends, coworkers or relatives noticed mental or physical changes in you, that are caused by castration?

If yes, what type of changes?

Just my wife. She says I'm calmer and seem happier. I feel that way too.

Some remarked to me several years ago (Orchiectomy 12/17/2005) that I appear more calm and relaxed. That is about it. It has been long enough for me that nobody says anything anymore.

Same with me. My girlfriend, who knew me before I was castrated seven years ago, has mentioned to me, and others, how calm and happier I seem to be now. I don't know that she makes the connection; however, she has said that she is amazed how nothing seems to upset me any longer.

My family has noticed that I'm no longer aggresive towards them and I'm a better person now. I get along with others and am not argumentative. I'm calmer and happier now than any part of my life. I'm more level headed and can keep my mind on things without being distracted. I'm not using testosterone and am using very low dose estrogen just enough for the health benefits. Ymmv

Maybe totally coincidence, but two people this week have noted how happy and calm I seem at the moment. Separate people I have been interacting with over a couple of stressful situations.

I am chemically castrated at the moment.

Yeah, I notice that too ... even with the Testosterone injections my feet and pits don't get that musky man smell and without my scrotum, there is no smell there either.

It shows that balls pump out all kinds of other things in addition to testosterone. And there doesn t seem to be much research or concern for that among drs and scientists.

After I had been chemcastrated for 3 months one of my female friends said that I look much happier than last year. But I did not feel like there is any change in my happiness levels. Instead I felt more tired. Somehow she registered that I look more happy. The change must have been significant enough that she needed to tell me that. And that made me curious what is the experience of other castrated people. But yea, if tiredness and insomnia put aside, I enjoyed that almost no sexual thoughts and no libido state of mind.

I'm castrated and not taking testosterone and its been the happiest time in my life. I did have to start to take a very low dose of estrogen because I have osteopenia but if I didn't have to do that i wouldn't have. I was totally fine with how I was feeling. YMMV
