On My Way!!!

Post by neweunuch (imported) »

After years of contemplation and indecision, followed by months of conversations with my wife, I finally took the first formal step towards my castration!! That was a psych evaluation!!!

As Most of you know, talking to a complete stranger, trying to explain why I want a significant part of my manhood removed, was a little nerve-wracking!!! Thankfully, it was a virtial meeting!! But, all things considered, she did a great job keeping me as relaxed as possible, especially through the more sensitive points of the conversation.

She will be sending me a referral letter and I am now clear to contact a surgeon!!! Fingers crossed!

Hey @neweunuch,

Your profile shows this is your first post. So, welcome home - this forum is the right place.

Would you share with us why you and your wife would like you castrated? Are your sex drives too far apart or do you just want to not have a sex drive at all?

Where are you having your surgery done?

Congratulations indeed. Yes I would like to read about your history, and why you decided this is the pathway for you also.

Thank you for the welcome. It took a few tries to register, but perseverance paid off! Reading the various forums here, the accounts and experiences, is what finally pushed me over the edge. I truly wanted to, but taking that first step to call was more difficult than I thought it wouldbe!

I have always disliked the look of testicles and scrotum. It just looks like God forgot something and shoved a big wad of chewing gum between Man's legs. But, they had a purpose!

Seven years ago I was put on HRT for low T. Dr told me that testicle shrinkage was a side effect. This became VERY noticable after about 3 years. This, along with my beta-male status in my marriage, got me seriously contemplating and researching castration. The more I read, the more convinced I became.

About 4 mos ago I began talking with my wife about it. She was a bit shocked at first, but once I pointed out examples of my "less than male" traits, she began to accept that I am not fully a male. A eunuch, in my mind, may appear male but is something unique!!

Once the procedure is complete, we want to investigate other hormone options. When the levels drop it has a serious cognizant effects. But we dont want the male effects of the T. Nor are we interested in becoming feminine. So, other options!

I just wanted to add that testicles and testosterone have nothing to do with manhood. Manhood is on the inside of you not the outside. That is what determines a true man.

Thank you all for the encouragement. And yes, I agree that I can be as much of a man as I always have been!

BTW, I forgot to mention that, while researching, I came across Middlesex Hospital here in Connecticut. They have a Trans program that begins with a Counselor/Guide to help throughout the process. She gave me my evaluation and referred me to a surgeon right there. So far, very smooth and understanding!

I've been castrated 16 months now and was on testosterone replacement therapy for several years before my medically necessary castration and continued using synthetic testosterone after my castration and I got mean and depressed. November I stopped taking the testosterone and let it get out of my system and I felt emotionally freed I was calm and happy. In march I had a bone scan because I had a gastric bypass surgery done 20 years ago and never had one and found out that I had osteopenia and needed some estrogen and calcium citrate for it to get better the added benefit of only taking 1 mg daily has only improved my moods and stopped the side effects of not having testosterone. I still am manly but I'm more sensitive how I make people feel. I've been told by my family members that I'm enjoyable to be around now, before they would stay away from me. This has helped me in my life but I'm not a professional so take it one step at a time and learn what works for you.

Just like calming a raging bull or a wild stallion by castration. Some men do benefit from lack of testosterone. Glad to hear your medically necessary gelding turned out to have a silver lining for you and the people around you..

Its sounds like your balls atrophied on the years of being on T and are unlikely to start working again. Maybe you can talk with an endocrinologist about what combination of male and female or eunuch traits you desire and see what might be possible hormonally ? Your balls are not likely putting out anything and are more decorative than functional from now on. It sounds like you enjoy the idea of a beta male confirming his less than male status with a full surgical castration instead of a functional castration with shrunken balls left on ?

How did you get your wife from shocked to not desiring the male effects of T ? You must be very persuasive.

My balls have definitely atrophied. Very noticably! Once I began to notice the shrinkage, that was when I began considering surgical castration. As I am already a functionally castrated with my shrunken testes hanging there, the beta male confirmation is exactly what I/we are looking for. Besides, as I initially stated, I think the appearance of the scrotum, even with intact, functioning testicles, is extremely unappealing.

As for my wife, we have been in a Hotwife/cuckold relationship for years. Once I explained the connection between a cuckold and a beta male, the pieces fell into place fairly easily. Now our conversation have turned to the future POST surgery. We have played and ultimately lived a male chastity LS for the past 2 1/2 years. We both desire an impotent life for me. To achieve that we plan to enlist the aid of an endocrinologist. We just need to determine exactly what other traits we desire. I still want to outwardly present as a male, have no interest in a penectomy, but prefer my penis to shrink and remain sexually useless. Behavioural modifications associated with estrogen are desired as well. As I said, we have alot to discuss still!!

You re very lucky to have a hot wife who enjoys the ideas you share. Having some eager bulls around to satisfy her explains why she s willing to get you gelded. And you ve already experienced full T replacement and impotence by chastity cage for a long time. You know what your future as a steer will be like. You sound ready to do this once you nail down the remaining details. Congrats on knowing what you want.
