Finally eunuch!!!

Today, October 24, 2023, I had my castration surgery in a private clinic (in Rome, Italy, where I live).

They gave me general anesthesia which kept me asleep the entire time they operated on me (when I woke up it was all over).

They removed the testicles, follicles and (partially) the scrotum.

Now I have to take an antibiotic for 5 days and a painkiller as needed.

I'm really happy I finally did it!

Hope all goes well with healing... Going from my experience w/ recent similar surgery, don't be surprised if it takes a lot longer than 5 days to heal - it has been almost a month for me and I'm still oozing some from the incision... It seems the removing scrotum is a much bigger deal the testicles.

I have weird pain sensitivity because of my injury, but I found the pain went away quite quickly for me, and never needed anything more than Over the Counter pain meds.

Do keep a very close eye on your incision, especially after you are done with the antibiotics, and call your doctors immediately if you see any signs of infection...

Congratulations on making your dream come true from someone who was castrated about the same age as you are, almost 11 years ago. Your journey has just begun and you will experience many changes as the years go by. Make sure that you remain healthy. Find a caring urologist who will examine you twice yearly and test your blood. You'll be glad you did and you'll find that, as a result, you will take better care of yourself, with a good diet and regular, strenuous physical exercise.

Congratulations. I am about six months in as a eunuch and totally satisfied with the decision and the way it healed. I am fairly active and having to refrain from riding my bike for 5 or 6 weeks was the hardest part.

Thanks to everyone for your congratulations and support. Healing is progressing slowly. I still have blood loss from what is left of the scrotum (it was partially removed) and according to the andrologist it will continue for another ten days. The hematoma that formed on my groin is absorbing. However, there seems to be a "small" problem with the ligament of my left testicle, which feels hard and swollen to the touch and which the amdrologist wants to keep under control in future visits. For now, however, I don't feel any major changes in my body.
