Phantom pain
Am I the only one with phantom pain = pain in my right ball although it isn't there anymore?

Re: Phantom pain
Phantom balls are actually a pretty common phenomenon, there's even a research paper on it.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19765099/
I personally only occasionally feel a slight ache in my now non-existant left ball, specially when I touch the scar where they were removed just right. I suspect some of the nerves from my left testicle connected somehow but that's just a guess.

Re: Phantom pain
I knew about phantom pain in an amputated arm or leg, but I never thought it would also occur in removed genitalia.

Re: Phantom pain
It is definitely a thing that happens, how common and the exact form it takes varies between individuals, and often changes over time and situation...
I've seen reports from users that had penectomies and only 'feel' the missing dick when it would otherwise have gotten up as one example. There are all sorts of other described feelings.
It is not all that different from the descriptions of 'missing limb' feelings from other sorts of amputees...

Re: Phantom pain
I used to often feel a slight discomfort in my left testacle. After my orchi, I still felt that discomfort off and on for about six months, despite the removal of the offending ball. Phantom pain is real.

Re: Phantom pain
For myself after the orchi of my right testicle (cause of undescended) I had some discomfort too for years. but not as phantom pain. Much more like from scar tissue pain on a harder part inside, very up in the groin. In the long run it disappears and now I'm clear or it since a few years.
Re: Phantom pain
I had a phantom burning pain from my cord stumps for the first year. Once they pulled up inside for a while it totally went away.
