Anyone into pegging?

Post by dandelion »

Wheely’s comment on my latest story had me thinking: How do our members here feel about pegging? Usually, pegging means for the female partner to wear a strap on and penetrate their male partner.

https://eunuchworld.co/a-star-is-born/

This question would mostly apply to straight members here, as I’m sure most gay people are very familiar with penetrating/receiving with their back ends.

I understand for many straight people, it was probably still an area they have not thought about venturing into. But as it can be practiced in the privacy of a bedroom, and with the topic of sexuality becoming more open and liberal, I’m guessing maybe more men have given it thoughts or even tried it than say 30-40 years ago.

How do you all feel about this new “position?”

For members who’re still in the planning stage and who had undergone orchi, have you considered trying prostate stimulation?

For those who went through a penectomy, have you explored gaining pleasure in a less traditional way?

Possibly I over-reacted calling it 'gay' but pegging still seems to me to fall more in the 'kink' category than "standard" heterosexual action... Given that the story was supposedly offering a choice between 'gay' and 'straight versions, it seemed off to me that the 'action' in both versions was the same, only the name and gender changed...

Possibly it is my age and upbringing; or maybe not having gotten any enjoyment from those doctor exams before or after I got hurt :o . I definitely did NOT like the 'Magic Bullet' suppositories and 'digital stimulation' I initially had to use in rehab learning how to do 'bowel program' (I'm lucky, my body eventually learned how to go without needing them 8-) ) But I've always felt that the anus is an output port, not an I/O port...

I've always been heterosexual oriented more or less, though not as crazy about it as some, and am now more asexual than anything, but I could imagine possibly engaging in oral sex with a guy (either giving or getting) and maybe even enjoying it. I have tried tasting my cum a few times and didn't like it and especially the after taste feeling of something wiggling on my tongue...

Anal was / is definitely a turn-off for me in pretty much all aspects - especially when combined w/ oral.

This doesn't mean I have any problems w/ those that have other tastes - we are all different, and as long as everyone involved is of reasonable age & ability to consent etc. I don't have a problem w/ wanting to do things I don't care to do...

Thanks for the feedback. I did end up rewriting that scene for more vanilla straight sex. I figured if I offer a straight version, I may as well go all the way. Plus, readers can always switch to the other version if they want to read the pegging scene.

As a gay person, I often feel somewhat put off by the amount of description of a hot woman's body when I read a straight story. I should not force my interest on to readers.

Funny you mentioned I/O port. It got me thinking, is a USB-C cable really a male end? Same goes for many other ports really... HDMI, VGA, even serial and parallel ports...

I'm actually not into the 'play by play' description approach myself - though to me it seems a lot of the gay stories are just as bad in terms of descriptions of the 'hot bod' - does it really matter exactly how big the dick is, and how many different ways are there to describe an asshole? :P

I much prefer the approach of the lights going out or the chapter ending as the action is starting, you know there was whoopee but you can plug in your own favorite details.... I call it the "Burger Kink approach" as in "have her (or him) YOUR way"...

Minor side note - I can't help laughing when people claim that "women don't like porn" and ask if they've ever read a 'Romance Novel'... At least some are VERY explicit... :P They don't call them 'Bodice Rippers' for nothing.

Back in the days when "Men's Magazines" were printed on dead trees and featured ladies w/ staples in their navels, there was a definite pattern of what you got in the centerfolds... Of the big three, Playboy showed tits and hints of the rest, Penthouse showed tits and pussy, and Hustler showed clits and enough details to be used in an Ob/Gyn text.... I always thought Playboy was the most fun because it spurred the imagination as to how you might go about convincing her to give access to the rest of her charming bits....

In terms of the cable gender, the USUAL rule is to go by the innermost contact(s) I.e a coax cable is gendered by the center conductor.... By that standard the end of a USB-C cable is actually FEMALE if you look at the inside of the connector, and the device you plug it into is male... (However popular understanding looks at the outside, so we call the cable end 'male') USB-A is somewhat more confusing since the inner contacts are the same on both ends, so they go by the outside contact.... If you want real ambiguity take a look at an Anderson Power-Pole type connector which is identical on both ends, and is therefor described as "genderless"

I'm not exactly you're target audience for this sort of thing since I'm bisexual but I'll give my 2 cents. On the topic of pegging, it's not exactly mu cup of tea but I know plenty of straight guys are absolutely into it. That sort of play is more of a nieche kink so I suspect most straight guys aren't into it but enough are that a story with it will get fans. I think most of the appeal of pegging comes from the perceived power exchange taking place. Most guys I've seen who are into pegging are also into femdom. I think writing a story to be sorta a chose your own adventure where the sex of the side character is able to be changed to suit the readers orientation is interesting and worth exploring but difficult to achieve since often what straight and gay men find attractive about their partner can be quite different making a gender swap a challenge. I think it may be easiest if as wheely said you leave much of the sexy time up to the readers imagination.

Thanks. Yea the two-version thing was an afterthought. I realized towards the end that it would not be an extensive rework of the story to change the sex of the "executioner" so I went for it. I must admit I got lazy though when it came to the sex scene. Though, like you said, appeal of pegging for straight men probably comes from their interest in femdoms, and just so happens appeal of castration can also come from femdom, so I suspected there would be a higher chance readers on FA that would be interested in pegging.

Anyhow, I rewrote the story to more vanilla straight sex which should appeal to a broad audience, and that was my original intention.

As far as leaving the sexy time up for readers' imagination, that for sure will make things either, but I must admit I personally prefer reading eroticas that include more graphical details. When I read stories that gloss over those scenes I kind of felt like they are a let down... And really I wrote the stories mainly for my own amusements but decided perhaps other people may enjoy them too...

Not a problem, write what makes you feel best, it isn't up to us what that is... I think it was a good first try at doing a 'choose your own adventure'... In terms of the details, that is a question of personal preference, definitely not a requirement....

It's interesting what you say about power exchange. In my experience, it is the bottom who generally has control; they can say no, they can say "slower", they can tell you which dildo to use, they can tell you to use more lube, and they can tell you to stop. The top can only decide to proceed with the scene or not, and if he/she stops, the bottom seems to have the right to be disappointed and angry. At least top women don't have to worry about not getting hard. Overall, the question of power is about whose body is being used; in the case of pegging or fucking, it's the bottom whose body is the object of desire and the object being used the most. Therefore, all the attention is on the bottom, and that gives them ultimate control. I think straight guys fantasize about submitting to someone, but ultimately, the will to submit is their choice, and how to submit is their choice. They retain the power to say stop or quit even as a huge dildo pounds them, just like women in a heterosexual context.

Interesting take on the dominance / submission issue, and I think may SOMETIMES be the case, but seems like not always... However I think it is great that you raised it, since usually we only see people talking about the power of the top, and not mentioning that the bottom may also have power of their own...

If both parties have agreed to their respective roles, and that the bottom is expecting that level of control as part of the 'deal' then definitely your comment applies. However depending on what the agreement is the bottom may have agreed not to have that control, and the top rules with the bottom only having the option of ending the scene (w/ more or less difficulty, again depending on the agreed on terms)

I think that there is a very situation dependent dynamic in the entire question of control, at least based on all that I've read posted by others here and on EAv2 and other places, and it is totally dependent on the individuals involved and the details of their expectations and agreed (explicitly or not) "Rules of Engagement" as to how the control is divvied up...

Doesn't really matter what the genders involved are, how many players (assuming more than one), or the variety of 'game' being played, this question of "who controls" is ALWAYS a factor even if not explicitly discussed...

In many cases, there's no deal or fun game being played. My partner, who is primarily bottom, has about 80% power in our relationship in general, and that extends to the bedroom. There's no kink allowed, just having my feet worshiped, being sucked and then fucking. I am mostly there to perform as needed and ensure he has a good time. That is how we have a sexual relationship with no deal. He gives me little power, and if I want anything sexual, I must initiate, insist, and perform. So the way I see it, there are "play" agreements that are formal and understood, while there are default situations like ours that are created through years of habit. I'm sure many straight couples experience the same type of dynamic between husband and wife, whereby the husband does what he can to please the wife while the wife retains most of the power to control the course of the relationship. That has little to do with a slave contract and more to do with the way things end up between two people.
