📢 NEW SURVEY – Usefulness of the WPATH Standards of Care

A research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.

📝 Participants are invited to complete a completely anonymous 30-minute survey to share their experience. No personal information is collected.

Stopping TRT after an orchiectomy

Post by Nick2023 »

7/22/2025 was my final testosterone shot. I decided to go all the way with my eunuch transition. I put it off for two years and I'm looking forward to the changes. I have blood work scheduled for the 28th of July. I'll post updates each week to track the results.

Beware with your calcium supplementation.

Also be aware of monitoring your bone density. Talk to your doc about getting a baseline "DEXA" or bone density scan, and then get repeats as often as your insurance will cover it...

I never started TRT after my orchiectomy. I supplement with vitamin D and calcium as directed by my doctor. 2.5 years TRT-free, no problems.

Glad you are having no problems. Many people don't from what I see here, but others do... Given that there is not a good treatment for Osteoporosis / Osteopenia once you develop it, and it has no obvious symptoms until you start having fractures, I am a big proponent of regular monitoring. If you have additional risk factors for it, like i do, I would say that monitoring is even more important...
