Bboy update: Late Weds. The last update

I have been trying to formulate words which will express the sorrow we must all be feeling but have failed. The best I can do is to borrow from Shakespeare:

And flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest!

For those that remain; to Bboy's family and friends, the only solace that I can offer is that his suffering is now over and that may give you comfort in this dark hour. Our thoughts go with you.

Damn. I avoided the EA last night because something told me I would find this here. Thanks to talula, River, Wolfie, and everyone else for keeping us informed. I am truly saddened by the loss of this person I never met. We must do something worthwhile in his honor.

I second the motion that we all tell someone TODAY that we love them for we don't know whether we'll have a tomorrow.

I want to offer my condolences, to all those who knew, loved or cared for Bboy and his accomplishments.

I hope there will be a condolences register on the EA soon, I know it's work the mods can do without just now... but I like to think that young man deserves to be remembered...

I hope that my post replying to the Tuesday night update on Bboy's condition didn't look peremptory or seem nosy. When one suddenly reads that a person is in the hospital and close to death, it is natural to wonder what happened. My use of capital letters in inquiring what had happened was dictated by dismay. I didn't mean to appear demanding or to pry into Bboy's personal business.

I never met Bboy nor had any direct dealings with him, but, from what I have read in the posts by others, and from what I have inferred from his own posts, he seems to have been a very fine person who will be sorely missed.

Let me, then, offer my condolences and sincere sympathy to his family and friends in their grief and loss.

I never met Bboy but he was the first friend I met on EA. I will miss him. I am saddened by some previous remarks which say, "Let God's Will be done". God doesn't will evil, sickness or death. He gives us free will and those events are part of life. God is there to comfort us in time of need if we believe and let him.

Bboy, may you rest in peace. I will miss you.

I am having a very hard time typing this.

Bboy has passed on.

The doctors did some preliminary tests, decided there was no point in going on, and his folks decided that it would be better to let him pass in peace rather than to let him stay on.

From all that I understand, they unplugged the machines that kept him alive and he slipped away from us very quickly.

This is not a good day.

I just logged in to poke around and found this sad sad news. My faith tells me he is in a better place and is with God. For us left behind, we'll miss him and worry about him. Please know he is at peace and happy. My prayers are with his family and all his frineds here who grieve.

Indeed a sad note. Words cannot express the esteem I have found in the first stories and contribution here in the Eunuch Archive. About four / five years ago I have published here my first story, with the expressive assistance of Bboy.

I have read his articles always with pleasure and advantage. I will miss him - may he rest in peace.

My faith tells me that there is something beyond this life, and I believe somewhere somehow we are reunited with our loved ones. I believe somehow somewhere we are reunited with our family members and friends who have passed on. So with that in mind I again say,

i havent been on over the last few days due to not being too well, and now i come back to find this!?? this is terrible!

ive never met Bboy before and never even spoken to him on here either,... but if it wasnt for him thinking of this archive then id still be struggling accepting myself for who i really am (and im sure i speak for other people when i say that) and i wouldnt have known about any of you guys going through the same types of ordeals as me, so i would still be feeling quite cast out and alone.

so even though ive never met or really spoken to him, he has played a BIG role in my life and been a tremendious help , i never got to say thankyou

im sure he deserved a much better ending than that,... but god (for thoughs of you who believe) always seems to take the nice ones early!

im extremly sorry to thoughs of you who are closer to Bboy and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

What a terrible loss!

I have known Bboy online since the days when we chatted on the old #!eunuchs chat room on efnet. We have conversed online and shared many dreams and fantasies. We were an odd pair. I am a female (genetic) and came to love and share with Bboy in a realm that few others could enter with me. I remember when the archive was just a dream, how he created it and ran it on his home PC from his netcom dial-up account.

He truely built a community! His legacy is in our hands to preserve. While he, sadly, never attained his personal goals of his fantasy, let us hope that he finds contentment and peace with the one who created him.

May all of our prayers be a blessing with him through all time.

As Krister and Riverwind have reported, today was Bboys memorial and it was very much a good event.

I will admit that when the BagPipers played Amazing grace, I had to leave the building. There is always something that gets me about that song, bagpipes, and the fact that they were being played as a memorial for my best friend.

Most folks don't know that but Bboy was my best friend.

Today's radio show, the one that Bboy and I hosted, was totally dedicated to B. The owner of the radio station and I spoke about his life, how he touched listeners that didn't even know him by the tone of his voice, and how much he enjoyed being on the radio. We played some clips of past shows that were exceedingly funny and we concluded with the fact that the show will continue and that B is still part of the show if only in memory.

His mother asked if she could have copies of the show and the radio station recorded every one we did and gave her a stack of cds. This is good because not only does she have photographs of her son, she has his voice doing something he really liked to do (much of it was poking fun at me, but I always poked some back).

I would like to thank each and everyone of you who wrote expressing concern, thoughts, emotions, etc during this unfortunate crisis and really shitty result. I would also like to thank each and everyone of you for being there for us when this household was in crisis.

The grief is not over and most likely it won't be for a very long time but we have to move ahead with our lives without Bboy even though we may not want to and are forced to kicking and screaming. This is our lot.

As for me, I will be ok if nothing more than for tonight. The Archive will continue, the radio show will continue, and my life will continue.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the place where we work will be erecting a monument in his honor with a bronze plate embedded into bronze and stone. The cost of this monument exceeds the cost of a new car.

BBoy was an inspiration, a bright light and I am so sorry for his loss. He brought so many of us together at this site, and for those of us who exchanged an E-mail or a story or two, he was a man with vision, and an uncanny sense of humor, and a will to create something new and different based on a need that was not being met anywhere else.

I am still shocked by the news, for those who were a part of his life it must be heartbreaking. I know the hardest part is to start the healing process. I guess this archieve will now be part of a legancy to BBoy.
