Hey from Indiana

Post by B1socob2 »

Hey all,
Been around for 3 incarnations now!
I go by Steele or Coach Steele. My first intest is penectomy followed by castration. I am a personal trainer and supplement store manager, so it all revolves around the gym for me. Feel free to hit me up.

Welcome, glad to have you join us!

Would love to hear more about anything you have done to move towards surgery if that is your desire, or if you have any suggestions about what sorts of supplements would be extra useful for us as eunuchs?

Welcome to the site/community. Feel free to peruse the site for info on surgeons if you're early on in the exploration phase and please share any experience(s) with providers if/when you achieve your end goal(s).

Well general suggestions are probably useful for anyone that had been fixed, especially what is most helpful after the usual Calcium and D3...

My personal question that I've never found any good answer to is whether or not I should have ANY testosterone in my system as a eunuch that is doing estrogen supplements.

The standard info on us says that we should normally have 'castrate' levels of T, at around 50ng/dL as I recollect... I've been at "undetectable" level since my first Lupron shot. (The hospital says their test can only detect 12ng/dL or higher) My TG doc doesn't seem terribly concerned about this, but I'm wondering if I should be, and if so, what should be done about it...

You should have some t in your system, unless your on estrogen shots. But they maybe just at the threshold of some test. If your needing a drive the yes t is a requirement other wise not really needed.
Calcium and D are to prevent bone loss. A strong mulit vitamin and omegas are key for every one especially those that are fixed. Each case is a bit different, based on goals and any medical issues, but thoes are key .

I am on a 0.75mg / day estradiiol patch, which isn't quite the same as shots, but close to it...

I do a heavy D supplement, 1,000 IU D capsule in the morning and an A & D combo capsule at night, and 4x of the "Citrical Max" or generic equivalent Calcium supplements / day... I also do a1,000IU fish oil capsule along with a lot of other supplements....

I sort of freak out my docs staff when I check in for appointments - I currently on three prescribed pills, the patches and a couple of ointments, but I do at least try to list all my supplements so the "current med list" is about 3 pages long....

The prescribed pills are for blood pressure, and omeprazole for acid reflux... Aside from my being a paraplegic, I think I'm in pretty good health for 67...
