Hello from Cali

Post by BandEct0 »

Hi my name is Stephan.
I finally decided to make an account after stumble on this forum several months ago. Brief description of myself I'm 36 and have taken a liking to the world of castration about 10+ years ago. I began using shoelace to tie my balls up. I found myself really liking this method when masterbating. It was slow starting a couple times a month. I stumbled across some videos of people using a bander for play and liked that idea. I eventually discovered elastorators and bought one that came with 50 bands. I've used it so much that I started noticing my loads where nolonger thick and a nice white color. Now there a cloudy watery look and texture. I've also gotten into wearing chastity and have found that I need to stay looked for several months before my cum kind of gets a hint thicker and more colorful. I do love the progress and want them gone oneday hopefully soon.

Welcome to the forum Stephan, glad to see you have signed up.

I hope that you are very careful in your play with the elastrator and similar devices, we don't like to encourage that sort of thing because it has a pretty high level of medical risk.... (No problem with the idea - we're pretty much OK with anything as long as everyone involved is consenting and so forth) They can lead to clot issues and possible blood poisoning, especially if left on for to long, let alone causing permanent damage to the testicles - which it doesn't sound like you are to worried about. Definitely keep an eye out for strange symptoms and don't delay seeking medical help if you have them. (Might be worth looking for a gender-friendly doc if you haven't already found one...)

We certainly can help you with information and next steps if you have any questions about what is involved in seeking medically managed castration at this point it is a relatively slow, but straightforward process, and there are plenty of resources in at least some parts of CA that can help you. Many here have also headed south of the border and gotten faster (but out of pocket expenses) care in Mexico.

Yeah I began looking into banding more and more and notice there was the potential for blood clots becoming a huge concern. So I stopped when I found that out. So I moved to chastity in the mean time. I still would like to see my testicles gone as I love that smooth clean look.

Wise decision IMHO, I've never heard of any serious medical issues associated w/ chastity... Obviously one can get issues from lack of proper hygiene or pressure injuries and other skin damage from a poorly fitted device, but those are easily handled and aren't life threatening if treated properly...

If you are wanting to go on to next steps there are two basic paths that you can take... One is to go through the WPATH SOCv8 process, which is the 'official' way to do it, and is covered by most insurance plans, at least in part. It starts by reaching out to your local Trans-gender center, and will involve a fairly lengthy but not terribly difficult series of talking with doctors, psychologists, and so on. They will probably want you to do a lengthy period (at least 6-12 months) of chemical castration as a 'test-drive' on how you will feel after surgery. If going this route, I strongly advise people to download a copy of the SOCv8 from the WPATH website https://wpath.org/publications/soc8/ and ideally read all of it, but at least pay special attention to the Eunuch and Mental Health chapters. In many ways I compare the process to a 'job interview' where you don't want to lie, bu it helps to phrase your answers the right way, and knowing the SOC both helps you to know what they will be looking for and shows that you've done your homework to become 'fully informed' which is a key requirement...

The other approach is to go to an 'informed consent' clinic, where they will basically do surgery without as much process as the SOCv8 calls for, although you will still probably need some documentation from a therapist, and persuade the clinic that you are fully informed about the risks and consequences of being castrated, etc... This is also something that won't be covered by health insurance so you will have to pay out of pocket. Many of our members and those on the old EAv2 site went to Dr' Aguilar in Mexico, and everyone that has used him have said good things about the care they got.
