A suggestion to my fellow EA users.
Something I've found helpful over the years when talking to people about castration/penectomy/nullification is for people to fill out their profiles in a meaningful/realistic way. Location and age are the most helpful, in addition to your interests being clearly defined in your profile.
Location: What I mean by this isn't to provide your street address, which is obviously nobody's business. But in significantly large countries like the USA/Canada/Australia, it would be helpful to know the province/state you're in, so we can help you identify relatively local resources, should they exist. There is a location text box in your profile edit to do this.
Age: This is the other significant item. Age is important so people know what life stage you're in before having the conversation about relevant aftercare or pre-considerations to removing your testicles. It also makes the person you're talking to more secure that you're of an appropriate age to be having such conversations, though I believe the admins here screen for that. Age not only helps the person you're talking to understand your life stage, but it also protects them.
Of course, unless the moderators here specify you must do it, I suppose nobody has to do anything. But filling out this basic information in a profile can cut down on the back and forth of asking these questions to you directly when contact is initiated. It helps you get to the main point of the conversation, without a lot of back-and-forth, first.

Re: Relevant user profile information is helpful
BIG AGREEMENT!!! I almost always look at the profile of people asking significant questions before answering - and find it very helpful in giving useful answers to questions...
Among other things location helps suggest possible places to look when seeking care - or possibly let us know if there are likely to be problems in finding it....
Obviously some idea about what sort of procedures a person is looking for and / or their end goals helps us make more relevant suggestions...
And so on down the line... Bottom line is the more you tell us, the better we can answer your questions...

Re: Relevant user profile information is helpful
Might be worth looking into changing the questions being asked when setting up a user Profile.
Just your friendly neighbourhood guy.
