EA, life and everything in between.

Post by fusion »

Over the last year and a half, I have put my heart and soul into restoring EA back to what I remembered it being when I first started coming to the site in the late 2000s.

There is still a lot of work to be done for this place to fully reach the vision I’ve carried for it for so long. That said, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build a wonderful team—people who are always willing to put their hands up whenever something needs to be done.

As I sit here this morning thinking about the future of the site, I’m genuinely happy to say that EA has grown and that we’ve started to see the community return. While there are still many things left to do, some sad news has come my way, and to be honest, it’s not something anyone approaching 40 wants to hear.

Because of this, some of that work will need to be put on hold while I take time to focus on myself.

The good news is that I’ve built a strong team here who can keep EA running in my absence. To the community, and especially to my team—thank you. Thank you for all the effort, care, and dedication you’ve put into making EA a welcoming and supportive place.
Just your friendly neighbourhood guy.

My thanks to you for all the work you have done, and my hopes that your personal focus is successful in resolving the issues that need it!

I'm glad to have helped, and plan to continue in whatever way I can... The commute is a bit far for me to offer to do much in meatspace, but if there is anything I can do virtually, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for all you've done to rebuilt the EA. I was so sad to saw it disappears two years ago.
For now I wish you the best to cope with whatever the problem that hits you. Hope to see you soon back on track.
Take care.

Fusion; any way I can assist I would be happy. You focus on your needs and the site will carry on.
Retired IT guy if I can assist. Jerry
