We Wish a Speedy Recovery for OBB

Post by MacTheWolf (imported) »

Eunuk's best friend in the world, OBB, is very ill. His small intestine is inflamed and maybe be leaking bodily poisons into his body :(. Surgery is planned soon to correct the problem.

We offer our prayers and good wishes for OBB to have a speedy recovery.

We are all a family here and when OBB is in misery, we all feel the pain.

OBB is our brother.

Speedy recovery to OBB.

Thanks all of you for your good wishes and prayers for OBB "OneBallBoi". On Saturday he underwent surgery to remove part of his small intestines. He is back in his hospital room and in extreme pain. Is on a pain killer IV feed. Per the surgeon all went well. If have to wait to see if any infection develops from the leakage of the intestines into the stomach area. He will be in the hospital for most of the week the way it looks. Again Matt and I both thanks you for your wishes.

Bobbie,

OBB must take as much time as needed for his own sake. I underwent colon resection surgery over 3 years ago and it took me 2 weeks to get out of the hospital safely.

I went home after seven days in the hospital (surgery on day 1). I quickly returned to the hospital about 8 hours later on the same day. My body was not ready to be home. Before I could leave the hospital eating a meal at lunch and drinking plenty of fluids was required in order to go home.

I drank more fluids once home. Little did I know my plumbing was blocked and soon found myself puking up lunch. My friend Lyle took me back to the hospital and entered via the emergency room.

It took another 7 days before I was actually ready to go home. At that time, my digestive system acclimated to the new me, minus 12 inches of my large intestine. OBB's work on his small intestine could cause issues if he tries to go home too soon. Be safe and ask him to stay in the hospital as long as possible so recovery at home is successful and no emergency return trip is necessary.

Take care my friend,

I just spoke with OBB and Bob. He is tired because they will not let him sleep as much as he desires after the surgery, but he sounds alert (as best as you can be), active, and ready to get the hell out of the hospital. It will be perhaps a week before they allow him to do that though. Bobbie is very happy with what is going on.

The Archive sent some flowers.

Thank you for all the great wishes for OneBallBoi. The Operation went well and part of his small intestines was removed along with the appendix.. He is doing much better but still in great pain. Doctor said it all could be done with a small hole in the abdomen. From the size of the bandage it looks more like 8 inch incision. Was up and walking per instruction from the surgeon. He will be in the hospital at least a week. No food or drink for a few days at least.

My thoughts and prayers are also with you bobbie and OBB. Please wish him a speedy recovery for me. Surgery can be a nasty thing, especially of that nature.

Keep us posted as to OBB's progress. :)

Love,

talIn behalf of Ralph and myself we would like to thank the eunuch archive and all of you for the flowers and warm thoughts. They sure brought a tear to our eyes knowing we have a great second family.

Friday night Ralph was released from the hospital and is back home. Will take some time for him to recover but is in good sprites. 🙏

I need to thank everyone for their prayers and warm wishes for a speedy recovery. The pain of the surgery that I had, I would not wish on anyone. I came home from the hospital on Friday but today was the first day that I felt alive again. Food actually tasted good to me today. Thanks again everyone. 🙏 P.S. I will make it to the Eunuch Meeting next month.

Dear OBB,

I'm so glad to hear that you're back home and doing better! Hopefully all those good thoughts and prayers helped.......couldn't have hurt, right?

Looking forward to meeting both you and bobbie at the upcoming meeting in June.

Take care and I hope that your recovery progress quickly. :D
