Re: uk castration
Your closest option is to visit the ORR in Belgium. They will do those procedures no questions asked, and have reasonable pricing.

Agreed. ORR is your best choice, unless you're transsexual and then their are other options. Please don't try it yourself or use some back alley cutter. Read the many posts about castration and the dangers involved. PLEASE! Hash

Re: uk castration
Please read my posts because when I was younger, 25-37, I had a strong desire to be castrated, it came over me slowly at first, so I abused my testicles and eventually cut my sack in half vertically. In the end I had one severly abused testicle that was not functioning very much at all. I didn't/couldn't control my desire to be castrated and it cost me dearly, one testicle, hospitals, embarrass-ment, financial woes. Please don't hesitate to get help, even from a professional shrink. Sometimes that's the best route to take anyways. I suggest a female shrink. It can be an adventure and you might enjoy just talking with a woman about castration. Hash

I was castrated in a private hospital in southern England on September 22, 2003. I posted a detailed description of my castration on the Eunuch Central message board on September 24 2003 starting a new thread with the heading "Thanks to the Eunuch Archive".
My castration was not a "walk-in off the street, no questions asked" procedure. Two years earlier I had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. This was successfully treated with a drug to lower my testosterone level to a castrate level and a 7-weeks long course of daily sessions of radiotherapy.
Over this length of time had got to know my consultant urologist very well. There was no problem when I asked him to castrate me.
The cost of surgery was covered by my private medical insurance but, for the record, the cost was:
1. initial consultation £80.00
2. hospital's charge as a day-patient £936.00
3. surgeon's fee £670.00
Total fee = £1686.00
The surgical incision healed well. There were no complications of any sort. I would concur with the warnings of others, do ensure that the procedure is carried out by a properly qualified professional and in a properly equipped facility.
As a veterinarian, I have carried out the procedure many times, though always, of course, on animals. Start off by just having your balls removed. Leave the scrotum in place. You can always have the scrotum removed at a later date when evrything has healed after the castration. Your scrotum will shrink. You may decide that it is not really necessary to have the scrotum removed. The only essential requirement is to loose your balls.
I have no regrets about being castrated.
Terry (a very contented eunuch)

Vince,
What are you looking for if the ORR does not meet your needs? If you're looking for a "scene" castration, I'd be very careful. Why not talk to some of your fellow nurses about assisting you. Hash

Hi Vince,
I also live in the UK not a million miles from where you are...just over the pennines. You will have a job finding someone who will perform a castration in the UK with out a whole lot of questions even then i doubt it would be done.....the only reason i have ever come across for a safe castration being performed in the UK was for gender reasignment or for medical issues where it was in the person health interests.

Re: uk castration
While visiting my urologist two years ago I met someone (in the UK) who has now become a good friend, but is not into using the internet. He had his balls removed several months ago, after insisting (falsely) to the urologist that he was in constant pain from a sporting injury to the groin that had left him unable to carry out his work and enjoy life fully. It took him almost three years in total from first seeing his GP, local pain killing injection until finally having his balls removed. Now he is very happy, and doesn't have to look over his shoulders any more while playing football (soccer, for those overseas) just incase to GP may be passing.
Personnally, I think three years wasn't too long because he had time to think what he was doing.
I'm not sure how many urologists in the UK would agree to carry out this proceedure on "healthy" balls.
But as lots of other people have said, make sure it's what you really want, and please make any decision safely.
