Long term "loose" banding question

Post by innocent574 (imported) »

This is my first post here but I have been reading for a long time. I have learned a great deal in EA about the dangers of any type of self castration and the posts here have more than once probably kept me from hurting myself.

My question is in reagards to banding. I know the traditional method of banding is a very unsafe way for one to castrate himself, but what if a man used only a moderately tight band. A traditional band cuts off all blood flow, but what if a band was used that only cut off 50 or 75% of the flow.

Could enough blood flow be maintained to prevent any tissue death but result on the diminished performance of the testicles? This is not something I have tried, nor am I sure of a method to actually even do it, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts they might share on the idea.

Thanks again for all the info over the years and I look foreword to your insight.

I owe this forum and a few members the same debt of gratitude.

Welcome to the zoo!

I'm not at all sure about your question. Hopefully someone here is knowledgeable on the subject.

I also would like information regarding loose banding or clamping to diminish blood flow and cause the testicles to atrophy.

I do not think that could be a good idea. Restricting with half the pressure a normal band would do, could result in trapping blood in the testicles. Remember we have an arterial and a venous blood system. Ateries carry fresh blood, with oxygen, sugars..., to the different organs. Veins carry the used blood back to the heart and lungs where it can saturate itself with oxygen.

The arterial system is working at a much higher pressure than the venous pressure. One could then cut of the venous return, but not the arterial part.

Then, I think, the result will be increasing pressure in the organs, oedema, and hence at last ischaemia. And this hurts the same way a complete circulation block would do, but just not immediately.

I remember having read somewhere in an old veterinary surgical book about castration that the castrator has to be aware of this danger. Complete blockade of any circulation creates a dry gangrene. The scrotum dries out and finally falls of. In the case of an incomplete block there is a risk for wet gangrene: Due to the entrapment of blood, fluids escape. The mass becomes wet and a perfect soil for bacterias. Many animals died of this malpractise.

Hope this was clear.

I think Vesal is right, however, if you play around with a bander long enough, constricting the cords over and over again, eventually you will do them damage. This may cause testicle death, shrinkage, damage that results in infection and then subsequent removal of the damaged testicle. I read about someone who banded himself repeatedly for several months and who continued to exceed the length of time he left the bands on. I know he got up over an hour and endured the pain by some means. He began to lose feeling and I think he stated that his testicles shrank in size. I also remember him getting blood tests, but I can't remember what the results were. In my own case, I did so many things to my testicles for several years that they were damaged. My remaining testicle started to fail me in 2005 and when Dr. Kimmel removed it, he stated that it did not look good and that he was glad I had it removed. He did not think it cancerous, but stated that had I left it in, I would have been headed for trouble. Bottom line, if you play around with a bander long enough, you may damage your testicles to the point that they begin to fail. That could mean a trip to the hospital or urologist. Just my thoughts. Hash

P.S. Are you now or have you felt out of control? Are you doing more and more dangerous things to your testicles? Do you think about castration often, frequently? There were times when I still had my testicles that I was consumed with getting castrated and the desire kept growing over a period of years. I had trouble concentrating at work and the desire pushed me to finally try it on my own. That was way dangerous but I could not control myself, my actions. I woke up several mornings possessed about castration and would cut my scrotum open, pull out my testicles and try to remove them. I failed and failed for awhile, but finally with the help of a co-worker, succeeded in cutting off my left testicle. If you have reached this stage or state, it's time to find medical help. Don't hesitate, don't worry about embarrassment or anything else. If you don't take action, you might die, I almost did. Please listen to me.

Very good advice. I'll have to rethink some things now. Thanks.

Innocent,

I had the same idea two years ago but quickly abandoned the practice after reading about the risk of blood clots. Restricting blood flow is not a good idea.

Interesting discussion - I have several times done what I call a 'loose' banding - ie a red rubber band three times round the neck of my sack rather than an elastrator band - have left this on (the red one I mean) for up to 24 hours - never any damage to balls but damage to sack - big scar where band has been which has taken several weeks to heal - not painful but does not look too good! Think lose banding affect sack more than it does the balls - hope this is helpful - but DO remeber everyone is different and has different reactions to these sorts of quasi dangerous activities

If you want a better rubber band, go buy a stalk of broccoli; they have these wide thick rubber bands on them.

Dont know what sort of rubber bands they use in USA for broccoli (and I am like your ex President who couldnt stand the stuff!) but in Australi they are called Post Office Bands - for obvious reasons - thick and red - really good for ball banding if u do not have the necessary elastrator or tribander etc. but even with these u need to be careful as Imentioned in my last post

I enjoy both broccoli and banding with the rubber bands that come with them. I have been banding for years with minimal adverse effects. I never have banded for more than one hour.

Broccoli is disgusting shit, and GHWB (#1) was correct in bad mouthing it (only decent thing I can say about him or his get).

The postal bands are better than broccoli bands. Theyre stronger, and dont leave you 'disgruntled.'

As my nut sac has always been tight to my body, I've been intrigued with rubber bands or banding to let my ball swing, like a great jazz band!

I have no desire to try the real castration bands, but like the idea of wearing something that will let my nads swing, while also keeping the sac tight to some degree. I've tried the brocolli bands and love the feeling of them. But I've only tried that from time to time, as my interest comes and goes. And when I've banded my balls, it's only been very short term. It was only until I jerked off, and then I lost all desire and took the rubber band off.

This is the first time I've heard of long term loose banding. My question is, what's loose and what's tight? Twice around with the rubber band and I was afraid. But, I loved the feeling. I don't know if that's tight or not, but it felt great. I've never done it long enough or tight enough to leave a mark on my skin, so I imagine it can't be that tight.

So I guess the only way to find out for sure is to wrap them up and then fall asleep after a few hours of drinking. Nice and warm and comfy. :) 😄 🍑👋

don't know how long term might be but..whenever I get off I always use castrator bands around the base of my cock and balls and then at the base of just the scrotum and cock. I ususally only leave them on for abut 15 minutes before I get off but I have wondered what it would be like to go to sleep with them on......

fantasy is to be raped and tied down and then have the bands installed and the guys leave me to watch the meat die
