looks like the old elastrator is on its way out
The new tri-bander XL will be the new toy
Saw a video of it used on a man by a dominatrix ...no more fighting the testicles thru those little green bands.

The flat bands wont roll and are a lot more powerful.Dont know if the bands are as painful as the rings were.
The pain from the green rings was extreme after a while.
Has anyone left a tri-bander ring on
long enough to attest to how much pain it causes.
I've banded twice - both times with an ordinary flat rubber band wrapped triple to get enough pressure. Testicles went numb right away, but the cord pain was intense, so I gave up and cut the band off. Snap! Ouch!
Banding is not for me.

Re: elastrator
I've used bands since I was a teen.
I started with the little green bands that I used to hold rolled newspapers together with.
I have tried everything from the huge flat bands used on celery stalks, stretched and doubled a dozen times to be super tight ,to elastic hair ties, leather shoelaces, just about anything that can be tightened to cause loss of blood flow.
I've never been able to outlast the pain & the bands come off after (at the longest ever) 90 minutes.
I did try self surgical castration when I was 25.
I got the scrotum open almost 2" with an exacto knife and could see the testicle within the tunic. But I nicked an artery and started bleeding profusely.
I went to the ER & told them I had dropped my butcher knife... after surgery to stop the bleeding, 3 days in the hospital & 4 units of blood, I survived.
I still play with bands, but haven't used a knife again.

Re: elastrator
Though a cheap regular banding tool can be effective, it is not recommended as stated by many. The "Callicrate Smart Bander," even with one application can cause significant cord damage if used as recommended. That's because it can actually crush the cords as they're bundled together. You can actually exceed the tightening recommendation, and that's when you could damage the cords and wind up castrating yourself accidentally. At best, you'll end up with hypogonadism.
So be extremely careful, don't use this tool to play around with. You might end up in the hospital.

If the cords are crushed wouldn't it have the same effect as the Burdizzo? Or are you saying that it is not a good thing to play with but OK for the real thing if you are serious? Or is there some other concern? So far in my play with elastrator applications I have gone up to 10 bands but not suffered any cord pain or noticeable damage
While I am on that subject I always wondered about the burdizzo. After the cords are crushed, I gather that the arteries are essentially put out of action and blood supply to the balls is cut off causing them to atrophy. Is it that the tissue is readsorbed naturally by the body? Isn't there a significant possibility that the dead balls would get infected and create serious problems e.g. gangrene? Or is there enough circulation remaining to prevent that?
Any thoughts??

The human body is a funny thing, it does not like pieces of it cut off, and this includes the balls.
We all think we are invincible but unless you want to be in the next copy of the Darwin Awards (that for people that do real stupid things to get themselves kill) and this will sure get you started on that path.
There was a guy in here a couple years ago that talked about injection his balls to kill them. We told him don't do that but he did it anyway, he got his wish, he was a eunuch, but he damn near died and spent several months in the hospital. Then came back in here looking for sympathy.

So go ahead, go try to castrate yourself this way and we will all take bets on if you ever return. It been all said above, you have so much to look forward to.
Pain, gangrene, ER, OR, large hospital bill if you survive, your family pays the bill if you die, the last two are kind of a 50/50 chance which is better then playing lotto. The newspaper with your picture and the caption "Here is an fool that tried to use a barn yard tool on himself."
But, having said all of that I know you can do it an be the first to report back that it went without a hitch, and when I say you will be the first I mean it.
Oh hell, don't lesson to us, what the hell do we know, we are just a bunch of dumb old eunuchs that don't know shit.
Good luck,
River

The bitching and whining is getting kind of old with this issue, the reality is no one has answered the question. If you don't know the answer, just fucking say so.
The question IS... "What happens to the testicles in a human male IF his spermatic cords are properly crushed with a burdizzo or similar instrument? Do they become infected and turn green and need immediate medical attention? OR do they atrophy and slowly be reabsorbed by the body with no immediate medical attention required?"
It's simple. You either know or you don't know.

It is simple. I know. I just haven't decided if I want to tell or not. I have no desire to encourage anyone to try something that has so little chance of trouble free success (somewhere between 1 in 10 and 1 in 25 would be my observation). --FLO--

The answer is fucking yes.
Seldom are the vessels properly crushed. Human tissues here are highly plastic and do not crush well. Some people ARE successful at it. Most are NOT. Most end up with a severely lacerated and highly contused scrotum, often swollen to the size of a large grapefruit for a couple of weeks. Add to that exteme pain. (I DO know from experience).
The net result of either successful or unsuccessful burdizzo use is variable. The tissue can become necrotic (DEAD). As a result of that, infections and inflammations, often repetitious, can ensue (mine were serial and frequent and lasted for nearly two years). This can also result WITHOUT necrosis. Gangrene can also result as a consequence of necrosis. On some occasions. the testes are reabsorbed by the body. That is not the most common result. Most frequently, NOTHING results from burdizzo use, save pain, lacerations, severe bruising and contusing, etc.
If you want to do this, go right the fuck ahead. Don't come looking for sympathy for your pain, or whining about lack of success. You won't find it here.
Oh, and next time, before you post this kind of FUCKING post, have the courtesy of doing your research. There is enough material on this archive over the past several years to fill a book. Use the search function and READ it. THEN bitch.

No, the information on this subject was never answered so well as now. Perhaps only adrenaline provokes real information on this board. The rest of it is just fantasy induced congratulatory greeting card bullshit.
And don't ever condesend to me again you asshole. I only asked a simple fucking question, I wasn't waiting for an answer so I could run out and stop the nearest burdizzo truck.
Now have a nice night and don't forget to delete all this so you can impress the rest of your community by exalting yourself on the highest. And after all, if you don't put yourself on your pedastool, who will?

Somebody mentioned about how things were down at the barnyard earlier in this thread and how they wouldn't be good for human use. Well I won't be debating that but just adding another anecdote of how things were done at the ranch. After separating out all the lambs into the pen each lamb would get its tail bobbed off and then either set free or else put into the next pen. Then all the orrelsers would be tipped over held down and pierced in the gaunche with a razor sharp knife (but no more than a half inch incision). Then the cutter would suck each huevo out into his mouth and using his teeth would sever the cords and spit each one out into a bowl and take another swig of whiskey (he had probably been chewing on some pinon sap too). The cords would then be touched with a hot iron (left out in the desert sun) and put back inside and some kind of ointment would be put onto the incision. Afterwards if they didn't hobble over to the shade then they would be carried there. And this is how it was done in the old days in at least part of this wayward planet.

Wow! This thread got a bit testy.
All I can say after all the risks you have to consider, the biggest concern ends up being how much pain can you take. While I don't band, I have tied my nuts on and off for about a year now. It is now bearable for about 2 hours without that much pain. After all that they are not dead yet; so they are very very tough things to deal with.

On this board one sees a frequent phenomenon called laziness. Folks come here, newly arrived, and many here for some time, and ask simple and simplistic questions about our subject matter, which initially is OK. Most never bother to do any searching, researching, reading, thinking, THEN asking sensible questions. Most want everything served on platter, and then bitch when they don't get it.
I don't mind answering questions, even the same ones, providing someone has actually done some searching and reading. If you are serious about castration, penectomy, etc., for yourself, you had Goddamned well better be doing some serious researching and reading (or you'll get whatever misery you have earned by taking unconsidered action). SHOW me that you are serious, and I will help in any way I can; show me by doing your homework. Of course, most here are NOT serious about castration - it is only fantasy. That is also just fine.
There are literally tens of thousands of posts on our boards, all accessible by an excellent search function. Virtually every question, simple or complex, one can ask here has been very seriously responded to, usually several times. That is perfectly OK, as well. So the no answer available stuff is simply not gonna fly - it ain't true.
Generally, when I see a testy, arrogant, and mean-spirited tone such as above with assaultive statements, my hackles go up, and I will respond in kind as I did. My nature I guess... But then, I only do that when someone asks a mere simple question before stopping the Burdizzo truck.
As for things up my ass, I suspect this won't apply - my ass is too tight for loose cannons such as ours. Your humor is often biting, pointed, and enjoyable - at least I usually like it. Your flip side can be just as pointed and biting and unenjoyable (Yes I know about matching shoes, I have some). On the other hand, I rarely would consider condescending to folks - I usually just reflect back what they are showing... hmmmm.... Damn - the air is thin up here on the lofty pedestal.
Oh, and no you aren't being deleted or banned. This doesn't rise to that level...

Re: elastrator
I burdizzoed my nuts a couple of years ago. Did it alone, which was A. very hard to physically manage and B. as a result not successful. I was, however, very determined to do it. The pain is intense for a short while but I guess, like women say about childbirth, the memory of the intensity fades. I dunno that I'd bother doing it again, it was an overrated experience and not very fulfilling doing it myself - although I did enjoy the numbness and low hanging nuts for a few days after the attempt.
I suspect no one has bothered to produce a for-human-use clamp because there's not a huge call for male castration (members here excluded), which would make them prohibitive due to cost if someone did.
I also presume there's very little instructional information about self castration like banding etc around because society deters autocastration or auto anything, more than it does self-diagnosis or self-medication. Perhaps if there was more information, there'd be less botched and potentially fatal diy results in casualty.
While you have far less chance of anything going wrong with a surgeon involed, i've read posts citing dramas in that situation here on the forum. There're risks having anything done to your body. While I'm sure people *have* castrated themselves with elastrator bands, I reckon using those particular bands would be asking for trouble. They're just too weak and flimsy and too liable to roll off - which would be disasterous and somewhat...messy

Re: elastrator
There are several anatomical factors that limit the chance of successful cord crushing/castration in humans. The principal one is the relationship of the vas deferens to the testicular artery. The artery is muscular, flexible, resiliant and smallish. The vas is firm, resistant to compression and larger. When pressure is applied to the spermatic cord the vas crushes to a diameter that is still large enough to partially protect the artery from complete collapse. When the crushing force is released the artery (remember it is flexible and muscular) regains much, if not all, of its original size. The result is pain and swelling from damaged tissues around the cord without causing much in the way of permanent effect to either the artery or to the testicle it supplies. Some of the other factors to consider are the presence of the cremaster muscle in the cord (it also surrounds and protects the artery) and the small size of the artery which makes it difficult to completely crush. Lesser, none the less important, considerations are the cords system of veins surrounding the other cord structures and the testicular nerve which is just under the surface of the cord and very sensitive to pressure (holy @#!** it hurts!!). --FLO--

Actually there was a emasculatome made once that worked very well on humans.Completely differant construction than a burdizzo.
Looks the same but very suttle differances.
Very narrow edges.Cord stops on apposing sides.Very small cord stops.Much narrower gap between cord stop and blade.Made completely out of surgical stainless steel. It had the name wimco stamped on it and cost 250$ which was its downfall.
Nobody is willing to spend that much.
Saw one for sale on ebay today
very rare I only see one or 2 a year anymore.

yes I saw the wimco .My wife already owns a 16 and 19 that she uses in her practice. She says they were the very best made. She has never had a failure.
She thinks its because of the narrow jaw blades which apply extreme pressure over a narrow area.
Other burdizzos have broad rounded edges that sqeeze rather than crush.

Go get a vasectomy first, and make sure they cut out at least a centimeter of the vas deferens. Then there is nothing in the way of crushing the artery. I have used a simple woodworking clamp on myself without any bad effects, but the testicle is shrinking nicely. (I'm doing one side at a time as an experiment.)

Not 100% sure, if that's what you mean. You need 4 to 6 weeks to be sure. Not long enough to tell for sure. Stay tuned.

Not that I plan to use it, but I bought this thing off Ebay. I bid as a lark, not thinking I'd win it, but did. I think there was only one bid other than mine. It'll be a conversation piece, if nothing else. I'm not about to stick my balls in it. Ouch. At least, I'll know what one looks like for any stories I might write.
