Great ideas Riverwind and tugon!

I'm already regretting my decision not to go this year. :(

I'll try real hard to make the one in 2008.

The excitement is building up in me.

This will be my first exposure to a mass of eunuchs and like minded people. I'm scared that some of you will be weirdos and I'm excited that some of you will be weirdos. :-)

Either way, I'm excited.

Let the wierdos try, would you like to challenge 30 pissed off eunuchs?

Add one more to the list, Shamoo is coming from Indiana.

Weirdos? Though I can't attend and am only a eunuch by mental choice and not by lack of physical attribute, I'd say our group is normal and quite diverse. We even have a trained nun who looks better in a habit than some in Washington D.C. do in $900 suits.

The only weirdo in the EA is a certain wolf in southern California who thinks he is gawd's gift to women. Fortunately, the women see him as a lump of coal in a stocking :)

Riverwind (imported) wrote: Sun Jul 15, 2007 8:56 pm Yes, Name Tags. We were thinking with two names, your e-name and real first name. Tee Shirts that say Rally at Eunuch Central 2007. Buttons with MOM on them unless you put them upside down then of course they would say WOW. Temp Tattoos with eunuch symbols and pictures of Chinese eunuchs, and a banner that says do you know where your pair are, oh wait, I think I am over the top.

Name tags would be nice, maybe.

River

Do you know where your pair are? Hummm.... That could tough on those with one. No pair anywhere?

I dreamt last night that I was attending the August MOM. We were having a great time. We had dinner in a neat old home. It was a large white house with a mansard style roof. Can you tell I am excited about the upcoming get together?

Not too much longer. I'm excited to. I'm not sure how I'm gonna react around a bunch of eunuchs. I may explode with excitement.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say that I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you too! :) I'm sorry I've not posted sooner in this thread (or been online much at all!) but a lot has been happening in my life recently. I don't want to bore anyone with details, but the final nail in the coffin was when my internet service provider cut us off. But I'm still here and really looking forward to being able to hug each and every one of you in a little under two weeks! (And show you how the British can drink! LOL)

I also wanted to say sorry for being a jerk. I don't want people to say "oh, it's alright" or anything. The thing that sticks in my throat the most is my posts about the BNP (which I've been getting a lot of stick for by the way!). I just wanted to say that I am not a supporter of them anymore, and that even in my rants I was never racist or fascist. Just dissilutioned and resentful about some of the things I saw around me.

Anyway, I suppose I'm saying all this to mean; that I'm not some psycho or white supremacist or anything like that and I'm sorry if any of my posts (particularly political ones!) came across that way!

Hope you are all doing well and I hope to keep in better contact in the near future up to the MOM meeting (even if it means frequenting internet cafes like a tramp! LOL)

Take care everyone I'll keep in touch :)

Much as I would like to go, we (the wife and I) are just too busy trying to move our household into a new bigger place. The old house is sold and closing will be soon so we just don't have the time for a vacation. Sorry - maybe next year?

Hard to believe, but one week from today I start jumping aboard three different airplanes for my journey to meet and visit with many of the EA group. I am really looking forward to this event.

Hasta pronto,

It is time to launder clothes both old and new. Making a checklist for all I will need. Air out the seldom used suitcase. For I am going to a MOM. From the days of thinking I was the only "one" to the day of meeting so many wonderful people who share or understand my path. I have never met so many people I respect so much at one time. Watch out tugon is traveling.

I too am filed with excitement to think that in one week all thirty of us will be gathered together someplace. I respect everyone there. The most humbling part to me is the acceptance of each other for who they are.

I'm so excited about this trip! :) I worked my last day at work today and am off until I fly, so I'm going to get some USD cash and start washing / packing everything I need. Looks like Minneapolis will be significantly hotter than the UK is at the moment. LOL

Please let me know if there is anything anyone would like me to bring from the UK! (so long as it isn't too big or expensive! LOL)

Will be so lovely to sink a few beers with all of you :)

Until later ))HUGS((

Hey there 'thefraj', I understand you were in the news again recently. Congratulations. I really look forward to meeting you in person.

Re the heat in MN area, I am a bit concerned about that. I do not handle heat well, but hope that air conditioning will moderate the effect.

I just checked the weather-guessers at weather.com (http://www.weather.com). Their long term forecast is for beautiful weather EXCEPT for the date of the Saturday BBQ in Talula's backyard, when there is a 60% chance of rain (isolated thunderstorms). Fortunately, Kristoff has rented a large circus tent for us to stay dry under should a short rain hit us.

I'm just back (midnight) from the International Academy for Sex Research meeting in Vancouver, Canada. The presentation on voluntary eunuchs went well, and the new president of the organization, Dr. Eli Coleman of Minneapolis, is willing to consider ways that the organization might be able to help.

Now it's time to dump out the suitcase, do my laundry, and head off for a great time with friends, old and new.
