Not seen the full movie but the castration scene was on the net in quite an extented clip which did include the build up scene. It was not my taste so never tried to see the whole thing. Psycho drama with lots of angst.

i got it on dvd recently, loved the film but i agree its not really gonna be to everyone's taste...
