DonFL has passed :(
I rarely if ever read Don's posts in here but he was a friend from the chat room. We heard he went to hospital many weeks ago and today we learned he passed away and has joined Christina in the clouds.
No information as to cause of death was found out yet.
Bye Don, we in chat will miss the way you laughed, cried and made our days a bit brighter.

I'm shattered. Don was such a nice guy. He and I must have sent a zillion Pvt Msgs back and forth. And he was always on Chat when ever I was...
I don't know what to say. He was a student and the last I heard was talking to me about going forward in the medical field to right some of the wrongs done to him.
I'll miss him! :-\

I as well will miss Don in the chat room and message board. He was very active. He as well had suffered greatly the past months with great physical pain. Don was on very heavy dose of pain medicines. He was in and out of doctors and hospitals the last few months. I am sure he is still the happy eunuch we all knew.

This is sad news, indeed. To lose two such people as Don and Christina in such a short time is very difficult. --FLO--

Re: DonFL has passed :(
I learned of Don's passing this afternoon. I had been trying to contact him for over three weeks - leaving messages on his cell phone until it was disconnected, leaving messages on the land line phone in his apartment, sending emails, sending a letter with a stamped self-addressed postcard for a response by anyone who might pick up his mail. No response whatsoever since I last spoke with him in his hospital room, where he was very happy that he was to be released the following morning.
Yesterday I learned the name of one of his doctors and called his office as soon as it opened this morning. He later returned me call to say that Don had passed away unexpectedly - apparently peacefully in the middle of the night. His mother found him the following afternoon when she arrived for a visit.
His doctor repeated a couple of times what an intelligent and pleasant person Don was.
He will be missed.

I am really saddened to hear this news. Don and I had exchanged a number of lengthy emails and occasionally chatted. He was indeed very intelligent and showed a genuine concern for my well-being. I will certainly miss having him around.

Don's passing was completely unexpected, and I was surprised and saddened when I learned of it. Don was a great guy; I spoke with him numerous time in the chatroom and through PMs. He was a lot of fun and also incredibly helpful. I will miss him lots.

I read Don's post and his struggles and the intelligent way he dealt with them. His posts were very informative. What a bright young man. I once teased him I was old enough to be his father. We had talked about a MoM and I wanted to meet him.

Wow! What a shock. You just never know, I guess.... How sad, because of all he had gone through... to have it end so suddenly.

Re: DonFL has passed :(
Was just getting to know Don well. Had chatted several times one on one and had been told by other ops i was to pass my chicken suit on to him being, at the time, the newest op here in the chat. He took that banter in stride and as always, made it easy to like him. Will never forget the times he logged in from his actual hospital bed sharing actual pics from his surgeries and others times when he nodded off at the keyboard like so many of us do from time to time. Don made a lasting impression on me and I'm sure many others. It was my pleasure to know you Don. RIP DonFl

I am very sorry to hear that DonFL has passed away. I am still adjusting to Christina's passing and it all hasn't really hit me yet. I deal with these things kind of slowly, bit by bit and day by day.

First, please remember that my off-the-wall handle and Avatar don't reflect the actually very sensitive SOB of moi. The deepness of the caring and friendship on this site is beyond the comprehension of anyone, or ones, who have not had the pleasure to laugh and cry and help solve personal and global problems at eunuch.org.
I thought about changing the name and Avatar but began to feel that real friends here will see the real person no matter the name and look.
This brings me to my own sadness over the two tragic losses. The tragedy is to the world.
Special thanks go to Jesus for making the grand effort to track down the news and to relate with passion the passion of DonFL's doctor. It is a tribute to the MD to relate his sensitivity and caring to Jesus who then related the same feelings to the rest of us. The knowledge, however sad, helps me (and most of us I suspect) deal with these losses a little better.
To close, let this aetheist say sincerely, "God Bless Christina and DonFL and everyone here and there, wherever here and there may be, at and from this wonderful site, eunuch.org." To quote someone more intelligent and articulate than NN:
Our beginnings never know our ends.

Re: DonFL has passed :(
Of all the people I have met in the EA lobby, Don was the most real. Although gentle most times, he could also (so he told me) be incredibly sadistic - a quality I admire in a man. At first, he approached me, curious about my nickname. See, although he would never actually harm anyone, he was a Texas country boy and knew his way around guns and pyro stuff. Our first chats were damn erotic.
And then he began revealing pieces of his history and how he became the eunuch-to-be that he was at the start of our talks. His struggles with family, disease, the medical community, his lovelife...
It seemed as if, after his self-surgery and the after-care that his fight to become what he was destined to become was nearly over. Unfortunately, there were emotional, financial, and medical setbacks before the recent hospital visit during which, apparently, he died.
After not hearing from him on Yahoo Messenger, I knew something worse than just another stay in the hospital was going on. I can't say that I was close enough to him to have felt his passing, but sometimes you just know
that something's wrong.
I'm worried about his pets. I hope they were being cared for. I wish I had the cash to have flown down to FL to meet him during some of his better days. We woulda had a blast! And many thanks to Jesus for finding out this information. It's good for closure... if there really is such a thing.
I'm not sure if there's an afterlife. It's a comforting thought for those of us left behind. But if there is one, Don, you deserve all the peaceful afterlife you can get. With all the angelic or devilish sex you want, and a few good old boy Texas explosions when necessary.
I'll miss you alot.
