Newly Created Eunuch

Post by considering (imported) »

After three years of work with physicians, psychiatrists and much thought I entered the hospital on Tuesday to formally remove the testicles and the scrotum. The one comment I might make is that it engendered much curiosity among the surgical staff as this is not an operation done on a voluntary basis with any frequency. The procedure was easily done in a sterile environment and while I could have gone home that evening, my Surgeon asked that I stay overnight to verify that there was no infection. Also, the Plastic surgeon who did the work to, eventually, conceal that there ever was a scrotum wanted to make certain that the stitches "were holding". Indeed the cosmetic part took the longest.

Did I keep them as a reminder? No. What will happen to me physically from here on I cannot say. I am fortunate to have doctors who are convinced of my motives and treat me appropriately and with thought. For those who may wish to have this done in other ways-cutters, burdizzo etc.-I can only say that you take an awful risk. I did this to enhance my life, not to spend years having to have "after care" for a job done inappropriately.

I hope I'll be welcome to the "club" and I want to profoundly thank all those members whose comments and articles I read in advance of this. The information was invaluable and knowing there would be support should I require it was relieving. My gratitude to all. It will be interesting to see what this new life in an old man is like but it's encouraging to know that having the courage of one's convictions can be accomplished, even if the time to that goal can be long.

To those who are pondering and waiting I would say, you are correct to do so. The first thing that one must know is themselves. Without that you run the risk of doing something that changes your life forever.

Again, My Thanks To All ,

Hi,

congratulations!

But a work of three years with physicians and shrinks is too much. Though I'm some years younger than you I'd like to achieve my goal (removal of testicles and - if possible - scrotum) faster.

But nevertheless your experience is very interesting. Which clinic performed the operation?

Congratulations👏👏👏

Welcome to our very special and ever growing group of eunuch's.

Your trip was long but you stuck it out and did it the right way and it paid off in the end.

I wish you a fast and easy recovery. Keep ice on as much as possible and rest.

In answer to a question about where the procedure was done: In my own home town in a hospital. To a question not asked but may be speculated, I paid for it myself as, clearly, there was no insurance that would have covered it as there was no pressing medical need. It's not my intention to be transgendered so my involvement with psychiatrists was as much to ascertain my own motivations as to provide my surgeon with certain elements that he needed to ethically perform the procedure. Along that road, I found interesting things about myself that have nothing to do with being a Eunuch but much to do with my everyday life, relationships etc.

To the person who "wants it now" all I can comment is that it's possible to anneal the fiction of desire into reality but if you've not carefully thought out the consequences, and there are some, then you're possible tricking yourself into believing something that is only half formed.

For those who may wonder what drugs are to be used, I feel it best not to discuss that. Each of us is different and there are many variables to be weighed and assessed. Only a few days later a few changes have been made. What I would say, as my surgeon asked of me, is that you develop a very accurate ability to sense what your body is about. It's important that you very specifically provide any medical person with critical changes you may detect. This is not a matter of becoming an hysteric on the subject but simply a prudent course of action. Too many doctors I have known have said that the worst thing a patient can do is be so vague as to "what's wrong" that they leave the physician having to be quite nearly psychic. But it's also important to know what is relevant and what is not. There is, for example, no correlation between a bout of hay fever and the operation. On the other hand, an outbreak of acne is. (I was told to expect that.)

Again, for those of you who are still mulling the process over, PLEASE have it done in a clean, sterile environment by competent persons.

My gratitude to each of you who have chosen to wish me well. This will be an interesting change and it's encouraging to have the comments of others who have the experience to share.

Congratulations and I am glad you joined us in a safe way. I hope one day this will be available to all who have spent the time to know it is right for them. Sadly that same level of health care was not available to all. Congratulations to all who have reached the goal in whatever way they needed to find their true self. Some with risk and some with safety but let us all be brother eunuchs.

I speak only for myself, but I welcome you and can't imagine others would not do likewise. Might I ask that you chronicle your journey, including not only the medical/health side of castration, but also the feelings and emotions side. It would likely prove of benefit to others.
