What a fine, clear personal pic Andrew added to his post. He is indeed a fine looking gentleman. I have enjoyed reading his post and learned a lot about what someone might go through with these kinds of alterations. His post have inspired others to add their own points of view which only greater defines their particular situation.

Garrison Keillor (correct spelling) is one of the nations greatest humorist.

He is the genius behind the Public Radio broadcast of A Prarie Home Companion. His weekly monolog "The News from Lake Woebegon" was usually haliarious. He retired from the show and started it up again about three years ago. Now, I think he gone into retirement again to write. He's written several books. ' Lake Woebegon,' 'Guys All Star Shoe Band', and lothers.

The show has imaginary sponsers like 'Power Milk Biscuits' (Heavens, they're tasty!) You can tell they're fresh by the grease stains on the bag! The Duct Tape counsil of America. The Moanback Brothers Moving Company (voice in backgroud directing a truck driver....moanback, maonback....then the sound of a large crash!) Catsup! Yeah, just catsup! and Be-bop a re-bop rubarb pie! Kitty's Cat Boutique......

Forget my comparison, I went to A Prarie Home Companion website where they have several pics of Garrison.........Andrew is a much better looking man!

Um, well, I have no idea who Roy Orbison is. Mostly I listen to Classsical Music. We have two classical music radio stations in Los Angeles.

I do not play guitar, but used to play the trumpet in the high school symphony orchestra.

Roy Orbison sang the title song. Roy has been dead now for a few years but he had a beautiful falsetto voice and had several hits during the 50's and 60's that never quite went away. Check him out here...

Their music was pretty decent, even if all you ever were interested in was classical. I am sure that in High School you were exposed to a lot of contemporary music also.

How long has it been since you picked up your trumpet? You know, there are many community bands that would really enjoy having an extra horn.

Did you ever play French Horn or Baritone? Most community bands have a real shortage of those instruments. Since you are in L.A. you could probably find some band to play in. You know, music really enriches one's life.

Indeed it does. Alas, I stopped playing trumpet when I joined the US NAVY at the age of 19, and never resumed the practice. Now, at age 57, I find myself always short of time to do all I would want to. To re-learn the trumpet, or horn or baritone, would ahveto await retirement when I would have more spare time.

I couldn't think of something more depressing than eunuchs beeing "in" and "coming out" and discussing theire "state" in talkshows and so and such!

Thats for the housewifes and disabled, if I may say so to express my feelings, and presuming that most housewifes and/or disabled are in fact much less depressing than mainstream-pretending-television-culture.

Well Done Andrew. Now there is a pic that is informative, driect, and good looking. Not like that crazy guy that scaned his nob and jazed it up with PhotoShop, Heheheh. The photos add a personal touch to this message board, plus, it shows that not all of us are wackos.

Come on the rest of you. Here is an idea: If you don't want to use a pic of yourself, then go out on the net and download a pic that you feel repersents you (just don't steal).

Now that I'm back on the pedistal, like those guys on the Home Page, it's safe for the rest of you to post.
