uhm maybe you guys have a paypal account for out of USA people?
Re: For discussion of "The Archive Needs You!"
PayPal won't deal with "adult" sites, or at least, not a few that I know of.
Thanks for asking, though.

Just wanted to let folks know we have been getting contributions. I have been sending a PM to everyone who has donated, except for three - anonymous, one with an email that doesnt work, and another who is only registered with the personals. If they know who they are, thank you! More later.
Thank you everyone!

Re: For discussion of "The Archive Needs You!"
Wow, I actually got around to sending something
I don't remember the last time I actually mailed a check for something...envelope, stamp, check...thank god for electronic bill-pay, if we were plunged into the dark ages, I might be in trouble...no one would ever get paid
, I had to search for a checkbook!
I LUV the archive, and will assist in anyway reasonably possible for it to stay afloat. Thank you!

I'd be glad to donate. Why didn't you ask before? Over the last 5 years I have received a lot of help from everyone here. I usually don't like having my nuts squeezed by support groups, but in this case it is a pleasure.
I'm wishing you millions of dollars... Oh, we should send lottery tickets!!! Wait, no, the odds are 1 in 80 million of winning. Cash would probably be a safer bet. Just don't deposit it in a bank.

I mailed another $20.00 on Wednesday to assist the Eunuch Archives in this period of growth. It is stunning that so many "hits" occur on this site. EA is certainly meeting the needs of many people interested in castration, be it fantasy or for real, or for those who just like the stories posted here.

Although we're always advised not to do it and it certainly carries a degree of risk the most effective way is to go to the bank, Post Office (http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/j ... d=19300207) or Bureau de Change, buy some dollar bills and post them.
Getting a counter cheque drawn on an American bank is horrifically expensive and sending a sterling cheque worse as few US banks will handle them and the exceptions will charge even more for doing so than their British counterparts.
I have sitting in front of me a cheque drawn on JPMorgan Chase Bank of Rochester NY. It was nice to receive as it was a prize and I might end up framing it as it's certainly not worth banking $4 at a cost of £25.

Try Paypal. It might work.
Or buy a gift certificate at Amazon UK or Amazon CA or Amazon FR for the person. I've bought books from England (the shipping is expensive).

I've given before and I will do so again. This is my favorite site.
A C-note to you when I get home in April. Hang in there - help is on the way.

Unfortunately, we're reaching the stage where not only do we need money to grow, but to survive, and for that we need your help.
So what were the incredible changes we helped pay for ?

I've received checks, postal money orders, and cash in euros, and haven't had any problems depositing them in my bank. I've also received postal money orders in Canadian dollars. There is a service charge for deposits made in foreign funds, but it's only a few dollars.

And software, too. The first couple of versions of VBulletin were free. The Eunuch Archive was a Beta Tester for the company. Since then, we've had to pay for upgrades. Software to handle other aspects of the Archive (chat and the personals) are also purchased. The story board program was written by Bboy, the Archive founder (and is probably incompatible with anything else in the known world).
The cost to run the Archive is low, as BME hosts the site, which would otherwise be a major expense. That's how it can survive on donations, rather than becoming a pay site.

Maybe one of the administrators could sell bookmarks for ten or twenty dollars and collect the money via PayPal. PayPal would never know that the money was really going to the EA.
Re: For discussion of "The Archive Needs You!"
Anyone making a donation will be entitled to hugs and kisses from the Nun and I at the next MOM this summer.
Oh wait...the whole point is to GET some donations...not pay you to come!
Never mind...

I'll be sending you a money order next month to help out.
At some point it seems advisable to require people to subscribe (via paypal perhaps) before they can post comments and/or enter certain more personal and interactive areas of the truly serious (not just the lookie loos).
Requiring financial subscriptions might help cut down on junk postings that you have to spend time deleting or editing.
It doesn't seem quite fair that anyone who doesn't provide financial support gets all the same rights and privileges as anyone who does provide financial support.
Anyway, hang in there........er, oops, bad choice of words.
