Please Help!!!!!!!!!

Post by jdw342002 (imported) »

I did some banding and my penis is numb. I did it wednesday afternoon and it's now Friday morning and I'm still unable to cum. I have been breaking out in sweats over the anxiety of it and hve been sick to my stomach for the same reason. I read that the numbness can last 3-4 days, is this true? Can someone please help and ease my fears that I didn't ruin my penis for good. At first I wasn't even able to maintain an erection, but I am now. I tried having sex with my wife twice and neither time I could cum, but I stayed hard the entire time.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. Do I need to see a Doctor? Should I wait the 3-4 days? Am I ruined for life.........

I have known of people who stayed numb for a week or more after penis banding. There is no way to know for sure but the fact that you have solid erections is a very good sign. If you have fears to the extent you say you do perhaps you should see a doctor in order to take some positive actions that may ease your anxieties. --FLO--

Your anxiety alone could keep you from cuming at this point.

Now try climaxing without cumming or being very hard a few times. You are on the very edge of enlightenment. You are about to go where no man has gone before (other than us XXYtype usually dry-climaxer types). And so now you too can experience the thing that most women experience: The joy of the dry climax in varying multiples, lengths and heights.

Sounds like your anxiety is the problem.. a strong erection suggests that not much damage has been done.. You should reconsider your goals with the banding... do you want to be impotent for real?

No, I don't. I will never band again. I didn't realize the extent of what I was doing, and can only hope it isn't permanent. I have been feeling sick to my stomach and anxious for the last two days.

I am actually getting a little feeling back slowly. I guess I just need reassurance that I'm not ruined for life.

Given your reaction, I would say it is a good thing you have decided not to band again. In all probability (there are never any real guarantees), you will be fine - it will just take a few days.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I agree that I'm overly anxious and very scared that I've damaged myself for life. I keep breaking out into sweats, can't eat and am having trouble sleeping. I am trying to work through it and am hoping for the best. From everything that I've read I need to give it three or four day or even up to a week to lose the numbness.

Again, I'm just looking for reassurance from people that have been there that it normally takes this long to regain the feeling. Also, that having and sustaining a hard on is a positive sign. Are there negative signs to look for? Are there things I should be watching out for?

Do you have any loss of feeling besides loss of orgasm? Is any part of your cock turning grey or black (necrotic)? How long did you leave the band on and what exactly did you band yourself with? How many times have you done this in the past?

It sounds like you will be OK unless you have been doing this many times with gradual nerve damage each time. It is unlikely that you permanently damaged the pudundal nerve on your first good banding, without loosing other tissue in your penis.

I'm not a medical professional nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, so don't consider the aforementioned as medical advice.

I've done it a couple times in the past, but it only stayed numb for a short time maybe 15 mins or so. This time it's lasting for a much longer time. I have only done it twice before.

I'm assuming I did some nerve damage before and this time it's just more intense.

I banded with a rubber band on pretty tight.

There is no black skin or tissue that I can see, and no greying.

I have been feeling kind sick with some sweating and diaharea (sp). Could that be a sign of anything?

I would think it is a sign of your fearful emotional state since you don't seem to be in the throes of shock. --FLO--

Hi Dev,

I'm not sure about enlightenment, but I can climax (sometimes several times, ebbing/flowing/crashing like the ocean tide) without cumming. I enjoyed this before loss of my testicles, and now as a testicle free "male". Maybe it could be part of my desire to be a "natural female" (my mind chemistry), I'm not sure, but I do know other male friends who have experienced the same delights. It's also fair to say that I know a lot more male friends who think I've lost the plot when I talk about multiple orgasm without cumming.

And those who band parts of their body, please stop.....and if you can't stop, please be very careful.

Luv, Toni

I'm very sorry to hear about your problem, though I do thank you for your post. Cautionary tales like yours are VERY important for the casual readers here. A number of the eunuchs who answered the recent survey quite definitely DID NOT want to be castrated (or penectomized, as the case may be). They were involved in castration play that went awry.

Anyone who plays with an elastrator or a burdizzo needs to be very aware that sometimes it works the way it was intended by the manufacturer.....

Fortunately, I think that in your case you will recover, though possibly with some damage.

Sounds like some nerve damage which can take awhile to heel. Your penis is one big blood vessel that sticks out of the body, and is covered in skin. Some males are blessed with a nice big show off vein covered in skin and others have to deal with a grower vein covered in skin. To make matters even worse some males only get an inch or two sticking out. The best advice is to stop thinking about it by cleaning house, working over time, go out shopping, etc...and then when you stop thinking about long enough you might get a nice wet dream! :dong:πŸ˜„

I think I can safely assume from what you are saying, that there should not be any permanent damage, and the problems about your performance, or rather lack of it, should improve quite soon. Above all, the penis should be of normal appearance and good skin colour, however sensitivity always takes a long time to recover, trust all should be well.

Cheers

I had my toes nearly frozen once, they stayed numb for over six months.

But they did recover. My doctor told me that this long period was normal as it is the longest nerve that has to recover. So from that view, it can never take you six months to come back to normal.

But I guess, what some said before.....It could be your own fair that blocks you. I know that feeling of being sick, sweating and diarrhoea and even vomiting, just because of something I did. (I will talk about that later)

Fair can be a hard lesson my friend. Accept the lesson, try to relax and trust.

I guess you can finish that fair soon, and you might be better of after it (without the game).

Sounds like all may turn out for the best and I surely hope and wish that it does jdw342002. I hope this has brought caution to the forefront of your curious nature from now on. I can imagine undergoing the exact symptoms you've described, maybe not directly being related to the loss of feeling in your penis. However the shock that you may have seriously injured yourself is more then enough to justify those symptoms, I can testify to experiencing them over much - much less.

Though I am curious as to why someone would band their penis, (keeping an open mind) is there a benefit to this? Perhaps stronger erections? or Was the aforementioned, loss of feeling what you may have been pursuing, though maybe not to this degree?

I find this all very fascinating.

That is why I stopped banding.. is too hard to control and I was afraid of permenante damage. Banding is very very dangerous.... Dave

Numbness can last several months. I guess this is a warning, huh? If you don't KNOW what is possible from the actions you take, better off not experimenting? Research folks before you go doing things you will regret. This comes from someone who is a very experimental guy, but always learn what COULD happen before you play, if you can't deal with those possible reactions, don't do it.

If you do not want any permanent numbing, i would suggest stopping immediately.

When i was younger i would band for 20min-45min almost once a week with a rubber band that wasn't too tight. I never got black but sometimes a little bit dark blue before i took it off. For me, at least, the numbness never lasted more then a day or two. I never had trouble getting an erection or orgasming afterward, but that might just be me.

But now, its been almost about two years since i have done it and i have noticed that it is not as sensitive as it used to be. I know it is permanent but i am ok with that, because that was the entire purpose of me doing it in the first place.

The things you should be looking for have already been stated: gray/black tissue, or any discoloration of any kind is normally a bad sign.

Am I ruined for life.........

Since this was only your third time, i am certain you will make a complete recovery, just give it some time. If you are worried enough, a doctor can be a very reassuring person to talk to.

Forgot to mention (assuming that you have recovered well which I had assumed you had) you will find that your nerve endings instead of being at the end of your penis will actually be further toward the base (where the band was). And that this will actually give you a very different feeling for sex than you had had before simply because the nerve endings are now in a different spot. While you're penis may be numb you will not be totally numb and certainly anywhere close to numb about where the band was. I had once tried to get rid of mine by banding before.

Several years ago I did the same thing playing with an elastrator band that I kept on too long. I was scared spitless that I had permanently damaged my cock and it would never be 'right' again. I didnt want to go through life not enjoying sex like I had before my mistake.

I was married at the time and I never told my wife about this as I had done it while she was out of town visiting her sister. For several weeks I had to have sex with her with a partially numb penis, but to be honest, it was scary and saddening as I feared my pleasure would forever be reduced, but at the same time is was naughty and thrilling in a perverse way. I didnt want my cock to stay that way though. The upside was that I was able to last for even longer durig sex, athough I did worry about whether or not I could cum at all with the reduction in recieved stimulation.

The good news is that eventually full sensitivity returned in my cock, but it took a month or more. The body's healing powers are amazing.

If you are experiencing this much anxiety, maybe you should go to a urologist or other physician to put your mind at ease.
