Putting apart all this political, judicial and societal experience I would say that you have to look at what you really want to experience in you life.
From many testimonies read in the EAv2 and here you may find interesting experience of life that may be rewarding as eunuch. Several individuals go to castration to reduce their libido for different reasons. Think of you without sex urge, with reduce probability of sexual assault. Would it be possible to see this as positive? A man life without sex drive could be seen as more "human" and less "animal", as sex drive could be seen as the basic simple results of sex hormones while our life could be more fulfilled with may other aspects that are disturb by those hormones. On the other hand you're still quite young and it's for you to see what you want from life. Every one's journey is very personal. Take time to search for the best for you and good luck

I’m happy for you that you cope with it so well. It sounded almost like they were just taking out your appendix would be a no-brainer in exchange for freedom.

If I were you I would be so conflicted about the deal. Balls would be no use if I were imprisoned for life. But to lose them for freedom would be a trauma for life.

I can see why this is so controversial. Yes it is true that prisoners made this decision out of their own free will. But at the same time, to me, the choice itself would be a “cruel and unusual punishment.”

As far as black market testosterone goes, if I were in your situation, that would at least be a partial remedy for the loss. I don’t know what the legal ramifications of you were to be caught, though. Another thing is to make sure that the testosterone is medical grade and not adulterated or contaminated.

Another interesting point is how instead of a simple orchiectomy, the would opt for “hollowing out” your testicles. Maybe it heal faster that way?

How you should approach your life as a eunuch depends on if you believe you're capable of rapeing someone again. Don't take black market T if you have any doubt about that.

You've been through a lot, do you have professionals that you can talk to? Opting to be mutilated to avoid an unsafe prison sounds like a very traumatic thing to happen to a 21 year old.

I think you've gotten a lot of good advice from other members, I'd also advise taking time to adjust to being a eunuch before deciding to rush into any effort to get black market testosterone...

There is not a lot of information about the effectiveness of castration in preventing repeat offenses, in part probably because so few places offer it as an option. However I do remember "Jesus" who is a highly respected and qualified expert on the subject of castration, mentioning a study of sex offenders, I believe in Finland. According to the study out of a fairly large number of men who had been castrated voluntarily, only one re-offended. That guy had gotten a shot of testosterone from his girlfriend....

You have said you want to stay out of prison, and I certainly hope you do. In addition to the concerns about the safety and purity of any black market drugs that others have raised, it might be worth keeping that study in mind. I also don't know what sort of monitoring you have to deal with and your risks of getting caught, but what happens if you do get caught using Testosterone?

I think I recall a few posters on EAv2 that gave that as a reason, some because they felt compelled to assault women, some because they did not like feeling attracted to minors. All seemed happy with the way they felt after, and that it had addressed their unwelcome desires sufficiently that they no longer felt they were likely to land them in trouble...

Maybe, you should take a time being a eunuch. You said you felt proud for your choice for not being a criminal again. If you remediate your castration, wouldn't that annul that good choice you had? I don't know the answer, I'm just asking.

I also sexually harassed a friend of mine, and that kills me inside. I didn't raped her nor did anything physical to her, but still, it really upset her. I've been thinking about castration to deal with that too.

So i wanted to avoid prison and asked for 2nd option with surgical castration because with chemical castration it means mandatory arrival for injections and after my balls were cut off i'm not obliged to any further arrival for injections or testosterone level monitoring.

But would you need to take the injections for the rest of your life? Sorry if you weren't advised, but did you knew that, after interrupting the injections, your body can regain the production, at least partially?
