After fourteen or so loyal years of faithful service, my german shepherd, Rocky, died today, peacefully. Liz is out back digging a grave now.

I am most sorry your loss. I know how very much you love that dog. I would also say how much he loved you. Being around for 14+ years had to be great fun and enjoyment. That is a very long time to have a devoted friend / family member. He went through some good times and bad but, you were always there for him. Hope you can get over his loose with out any pain. Know it will be hard. 👯

I just get over losing Rocky and now I "think" my cat is ill. She's only a lil over 3 years old and recently her body has increased in size by almost double. It can't be pregnancy as she hasn't been outside in many months.

She still eats and purrs when I pet her but she hasn't moved out of her new spot in the window in two weeks now. She doesn't run around the house like she used to either. I'm at a loss to figure out her problem.

My friend Wetherman in chat suggested I get some Pepto-bismol to give her in case she got into some poison. It's odd as I keep no poisons in the house.

My cat is still among the living. I give her daily rations of milk and Friskies dry food and she gladly accepts both She still purrs when I come near as well. She recently moved into the back corner of my closet. Usually, when cats do that either it's their time to die or to have kittens.

I pet her everyday :)

My little black cat I see daily. At night she guards my lap as I try to type. She comes to see me as well for her orgy of neck and ear scratching.

Cat mystery illness solved.

My cat gave birth to at least three kittens, all dead. If there are other kittens alive, I haven't found them yet.

I will keep looking, however.

I searched the middle closet and found no more kittens. My :kittygray is looking healthier now and comes out of the closet day and night for fresh water and kitty chow.

As to how she was knocked up since I don't let her outside, I might have figured out an answer. There's an old saying, "nature will find a way."

There is, of course, another possibility, though I tend to ignore it since I'm not very religious. It occurred to me that a miracle might have happened in the form of "Immaculate Catception" 😄

I checked for sheep signs as soon as I saw your idea.

Alas, there were no hoof prints in the cheesecake

Would you believe I have lived 64 years without ever tasting cheesecake. Tis true.

So far I haven't had any sleep. The TimeWarner guy is coming between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to hopefully fix my phone. I've been without a phone now for two weeks.

You might say I'm excited about the possibility of having a phone again, especially as I need to make an appointment with my Doc so I can get my medications renewed.

What he is talking about in his "Land Line", he needs a new telephone hand set, his 8 key isn't working, so he cannot dial a lot of numbers. all he needs to do is go to Target and get a new telephone for $9.95.

Just learn to ask people what their phone number is before you take

up with them, that'll save you the $8.95.

:D

Sounds like my 89 year old Mother and her inability to understand the thermostat on the furnace and air conditioner. I swear she was born with a faulty gene that prevents her from understanding that simple piece of household aggravation.

I feel I should give an update on the Old Grey Wolf,

His computer has been broken for about a week now, His hard drive has crashed and cannot be repaired with remote help. I have purchased a new Hard Drive for his Mac and I'm installing OS 10.4 right now on this new HDD with a computer I have here that closely matches his. Hopefully I will be able to take it up to his house on Wed. and with any luck Good or Bad depending on your point of view Mac should be back online tomorrow night.

It works, Thank You Ken. If you were female and good-looking, I'd propose
