Well, tomorrow I have my appointment to see my family doctor. The topics to be discussed are (1) renewing my medications (2) my frequent dizzy spells of late (3) my frequent headaches.
The fun part is the walking. The bus drops me off within a mile of the clinic leaving me to have a nice leisure walk there. It's pleasant if it's not raining.
I'll let you all now if my doc has any commentary about my condition.
Hopefully, he won't say I'm starting to look as old and as senile as River - heh heh

I was lucky, two months after applying, i began receiving disability.
See, old age and Galloping Senility helps.
When I applied I was in such bad shape, I went to the Social Security office and had them fill out the forms, I got it a month later. That is the ticket, have them fill out the damn forms as they are the only ones that know what they want.

I'd like to discuss your condition with your doctor. Both as a warning and in the hope that he can do something about it.

Fun on the Homefront:
Liz's 20 year old son was staying here the last few days when he was arrested for violating his parole. He never went to visit his parole officer. Duh, how dumb is that.
On the plus side, his nice girlfriend came over today and bought me a pizza

Supposedly, she's going to give me $25 tomorrow. I'll wait and see.

I found a good quote today:
"A laborer is one who makes something with his hands. A craftsperson is one who makes something with his hands and mind. An artist is one who makes something with his hands, mind and heart."
I was researching Hernando De Soto and the source mentioned he took artisans and craftsmen with him to La Florida.

I called Edison and arranged payments. I gave them $150 for May as a down-payment. I'm happy.

woo hoo I now have a new yard ornament, well, sorta.
THis morning I heard a loud cracking sound and went out my front door to check it out. My large oak tree split almost in half and crashed in the front yard. The debris covers about half of my front yard. THe only damage was my cheapo $35 driveway fence.
Hopefully, someone comes by wanting firewood. They can have all they want.
