Just as I get on the verge of completing the conservatorship process, Murphy Laws creep in.

Friends gave me the $700 fee to file the paperwork which is completed. They also sent me the $670 needed for the court fees plus cost of the investigator. I gave the para-legal all the money. She gave me a two-page form for the doctor to fill out. I gave it to the doctor who says he can't fill out section #4 until there is a court date stamped on the form. The para-legal says she can't get a court date stamp until the doctorfills out the form completely - hence Murphy's law strikes again.

The para-legal says she'll call the doctor tomorrow and try to explain it to him. I call her back tomorrow to see if she succeeded.

Murphy was a genius. How he figured out all this stuff is amazing. He must have been almost as smart as our Sister Kristoff.

Don't know what you are doing to prevent re-establishment but I had such an experience after moving into a new house (new in the contect of new for me). It was just crawling with roaches who were holding a prolonged convention there at the time and even invaded and shorted out my microwave. I got a strong insecticide surface spray from Baygon and sprayed every possible crevice at depth to get then where they lived. It smelled that same as their outdoor pest spray product so I thought it was probably going to be as effective. It worked!!!They haven't been back for 25 years. It took about three large cans and the house smelled fauntly of insecticide for several months but it was worth it. BTW nobody died that I know of. Certainly none of the residents (my family) were affected and no visitors either so alls well that ends well I guess.

I hired a extermination company. They filled house with gas. Seemed to kill 99% of the little bastards. They return March 15 for another spray and once a month for $34 a month.

I signed the papers for Conservatorship today and gave them to the paralegal. I should have a court date in a few days. :)

And if you do really good with that, maybe you can receive the red light saber here after a while as payment.

Crimony! This whole mess is your mom's fault! She called the cops. Make the bitch go after the mice herself! And put her in a tent if she doesn't!

Humor and gratitude. They always help a little bit. Be grateful you have a home. I lived homeless for 18 months in San Francisco. But I kept my humor and gratitude.

My mother died on Good Friday after a long bout with Alzheimers. At least now she is at rest (and so am I).

Ohhh,

Well, here is what would happen if you did that. Social sevrvices would file for a protective order, Mom would be institutionalized and eventually you would be evicted. Homeless once more...

Remember, Alzheimer's is a bad disease.

Also Remember, Mom has it and is as crazy as a loon. Emulating or enabling her behavior will get you nowhere.
