Yesterday, I asked tyne Bishop of the local Mormon church if he would ask the members if they had ann extra electric skillet to lend out. No response yet. One member offered me a regular skillet but I explained to him I have no stove.

On the bad side, I spent 5 hours in the Emergency Room last night. I was having trouble breathing. They did a series of tests and finally blamed it on the heat

I went to my dermatologist today. She wants to do a biopsy on my face but has to ask my doctor first.

I returned home and found food in my fridge that wasn't there when I left. Several pieces of chicken and a bag full of hot dogs and buns.

I found out that the Mormon missionaries came by. They didn't tell me how they got in. Maybe like SAnta Claus (down the chimney)

I considered eating rats but I can't catch the lil buggers. The cats can outrun them but they refuse to share.

Oh boy, I was thinking I had a major computer breakdown. Yesterday, I had shut down my computer. to take a nap. When I awoke I turned on my computer to go back online. My computer turned on and my name appeared just below whee I normally type in my password. Every time I entered the first letter of my password the computer refused to accept it and I heard a "bump" sound. After talking to Spectrum, I accidentally found the problem. The key to the right of the Control key, a key that looks like 4 windows, was depressed and stuck there. I unstuck it and then I could enter my password. Woohoo.

My keyboards, mice, etc., never last long enough to have to worry about problems like that. If one makes it a month with me, it's done good.

I always kick the crap out of boxed electronics, then buy them. If it still works when I get it home, it must be good stuff.

I'm melting, melting. Now I feel sorry for the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz movie. It is 99 F. here today. Thankfully I have an 19 inch fan to give me a breeze. My apartment manager says he'll be here by 3:30pm to install a new motor :)

Hopefully I'm not just a 71 year old puddle of ectoplasm by the time he arrives :)

I was beginning to wonder if you'd melted away, as you'd not posted in a while.
