📢 NEW SURVEY – Usefulness of the WPATH Standards of Care

A research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.

🧪 The study explores how the WPATH Standards of Care v8 – Eunuch Chapter has supported individuals in accessing gender-affirming medical or surgical care (e.g., orchiectomy, penectomy, nullification).

📝 Participants are invited to complete a completely anonymous 30-minute survey to share their experience. No personal information is collected.

📚 The results will contribute to a medical journal article and help improve access and care for the Eunuch community.

Emasculation

Post by NaturalEunuch »

The definition of "emasculation" is the removal of the external male sex organs, which includes both the penis and the scrotum, the latter of which contains the testicles. Emasculation, also known as nullification, is distinct from "castration," where only the testicles are removed.

Another meaning for emasculation, however, is to make a man feel less masculine, often a specialty finely honed by our female partners.

As a merely castrated eunuch, I'm not emasculated unless I get nullification surgery or my wife yells at me.

That's pretty much all of what there's to be said.

I don't think I'll ever get to be a nullo per se, but I sure feel emasculated already.

That's what I thought also. All the way up to my orchiectomy, I was thinking a simple orchi was all I wanted. But after two years, I'm tired of my unneeded empty ball sack and also my shrunken penis is pretty useless too.

My options are:

1. Be happy as a castrated eunuch, no extra time or expense needed.

2. Get a scrotectomy for comfort and a cleaner appearance. Affordable price if paid out of pocket. Reasonable recovery time. The skin has tightened up a lot. It's not unwieldy or uncomfortable, but I'd still like it gone. Might entertain this idea down the line.

3. Then again, why get a scrotectomy when I can get the full nullo treatment for max comfort and a clean, smooth appearance? This is what I really want (but kind of like a $100,000k Porsche Carrera, does it make sense?) Most expensive and longest recovery time. I'd definitely have to get my partner to sign-off on this one. But down the line, who knows?

While I figure all this out, I'm perfectly happy enjoying eunuch life as is.

Masculinity is somehow quite fragile. Sometimes it relies on minimal behavior like penetrative sex. This month celebrating (if one can say) my eleventh years without PS I feel much more feminine. I'm much and much less interested in masturbation. I can stay months without and I prefer panty hose and skirts. It's quite confusing to understand and accept that a long life feeling like a man can vanish rapidly as it was held only by PS. And when my wife raise her voice I do felt quite emasculated. But that's fine with me. One day I hope it will be for real. :)
