Clarification in case anyone needs it... This topic came up because I've been doing some research into getting a PAID legal opinion about the legal risks of including the same sorts of FICTION stories involving minors that made up about 1//3 of the content in the FICTION area of the old EAv2 Eunuchworld site, which is now being run by Dandelion on a totally separate server, etc. from the forum - with the exception of having an area here for discussion of fiction, and announcing new submissions to the FA site. There has been a thread discussing the subject in the area reserved for staff discussions (hidden from regular members), as it seemed like something that shouldn't be public until we had a better idea of what we wanted to do.

There is NO intent or desire to change ANY policy or rules for what is allowed here on the forum! Any change is going to be in the FICTION AREA ONLY!

In case it needs restating, the policy in the forum is about the same as it was on EAv2:

1. Minors are NOT allowed... If we figure out that a poster lied about their age and is only pretending to be an adult, their account will be immediately deleted. (Yes we know that this may suck if one is a minor wanting to get fixed, but it is what the law requires, and we are not challenging it)

2. Discussion of what a member's experiences / feelings / etc. were as a minor is allowed to some degree as long as things don't get into explicit details, and it is in the context of 'how we got here'

3. Discussion of news stories, historical events, policy changes, and similar issues are allowed regardless of whether or not they involve minors if they relate to eunuchs and castration and are otherwise on topic, and not gratuitously explicit. (politics also need to be in line with the rules about that)

4. Discussing desires to harm minors (or other non-consenting individuals) are strongly discouraged. (including fantasies about real minors...) Actual harm is absolutely forbidden and will probably result in a ban. (I'm told there were a very few extreme offenders on EAv2 that were not only banned but had at least consideration given to attempting to alert legal authorities if their location could be determined...)

Users here have to remember that, by my estimation, over 95% of historical eunuchs were minors when they were castrated / emasculated. If you want to know about their true subsequent real-life, & frequently marvellous, histories, which some stories on the old website attempted without catering in anyway to paedophiles, you need to accept that fact. Otherwise, you're just placing your heads in the sand!

My own, recently posted, 'Malleus Gothorum' story here, about probably, in my opinion, the greatest eunuch in history is a story of this kind!

That is true, but we all know (I hope) what Drugganator meant. I'd rather have my head in the sand than on a chopping block.

Obligatory IANAL - But I have NEVER heard of a user of a board getting into trouble for just viewing content, even stuff that got the poster and board operator into trouble. If you just view content online, and don't download it or do bad things with it (especially don't repost it elsewhere) then there is not a lot that could be done to you, even if they could figure out that you had looked at it...

So I don't know of any reason that your head would be on any blocks RE. It is vaguely possible though IMHO extremely unlikely that MY head could be (and possibly Drugganator's since she is also board staff of ONLY the forum) but I think my risk of getting struck by lightning is higher....
