Paging Dandelion... - I can't help w/ the technology side of stuff, he will need to investigate / fix...
I don't know if it is something new for some or all new members (In light of the new laws in some states about "adult content) but I've never been asked for age verification. I know there is a CloudFlare check box every time I log in where I have to confirm my humanity (apparently aliens aren't allowed to read the stories
) but that is just a check mark...

Age verification: If you live in a state with age verification laws, you will be asked to verify your age through a 'trusted' app. If you are running a VPN, it might be telling the world you are logging in from Alabama or some other state that has some very strict age verification laws. Try resetting your network. Give it about 30 seconds and let your VPN choose another place. Rinse and repeat, until you can log in.
My two Satoshis worth, I run a VPN to mask PII that my computer put out there. These age verification applications ask for some information that when combined, could allow someone to know who you are. I don't trust their security. I am paranoid that way or informed. I used to run an IT division. So when the day comes, and it will get here, that age verification is universal, mounds_dont will disappear.

Try any that does NOT have an age verification law... I believe that Mass doesn't, not sure which of the other states do or don't... You might also try a Non-US country... However I'm not sure how Dandelion has it set up, you may have a 'verify age' flag set in your profile?

I did my best to implement the most privacy-preserving method. The age verification system is open source so anyone can audit the code on GitHub. It also runs on your machine so no data is sent to EA's server. I understand taking a selfie is still very intrusive, but not much I can do when so many states are requiring such measures...
