Hello! <333

Post by Adam661 »

I've been having fantasies of being a eunuch since the age of 12. Started banding myself until my testicles would bleed and I was in feverish pain at 16 or 18. Never got support or help for this problem. I one time had to get prescribed antibiotics (sulfamethoxazole) after I developed ligature marks that got infected badly which I took until I developed swallowing problems and it scabbed up. I had no urge to masturbate again until about 5 or 6 months later, and it temporarily made me asexual. Another time I banded my penis and had to go to the emergency room to get it taken off and it went numb temporarily afterward. I even used to start cutting my penis with a razor until it bled. I still pull at my penis trying to tear it out or dislodge something. I really don't want it attached to my body. I need advice in cutting it off myself because I live in a republican extremist state hat doesn't believe in the right to bodily autonomy. And no I do not have the money or resources to go to another state or country to get them cut off either. I have to do it myself.

As for about me, I am into feminism, metal and S&M. I want a penectomy so I can be chaste.

Hello Adam, and welcome to the forum. I'm glad you found us, and hope we can find a way for you to get the care you desire.

From your description, it certainly sounds like you would have no problem qualifying for castration under the WPATH SOCv8 process, and given your record of self harm, you would probably get a faster path to surgery than usual (the way I got my surgery) as the SOC has specific recommendations to skip a lot of the waiting and chemical castration 'trial periods' if there is a risk of self harm...

We will be very happy to help you through the SOCv8 process or possibly find a way to get it done under proper medical care.

What we will absolutely NOT help with is advice on Do-It-Yourself surgery, or finding a 'cutter', especially not for a penectomy, as there is no safe way to do this kind of procedure without proper training and appropriate care. It's been done, and some have done it successfully, but far more have ended up in serious medical trouble or dead...

Don't assume that care is not available just because you live in a conservative state... I'd point out that the Crane Center https://cranects.com/ has one of its three locations in Austin, TEXAS, and they claim to both be the biggest gender affirming surgery practice in the US, and to have excellent experience working with getting paid by insurance companies...

You didn't say which state you are in, but I'll give high odds that if you do a Startpage search for "Transgender Center <your-state> you will get hits on places that can help you, probably in your nearest major city....

I live in South Carolina. They passed a law in 2024 banning elective genital amputations. Either I get a referral for a specialist in another state to do it or I cut it off myself, which is really the only possible way I can achieve it. Even then I would still have to do the cutting because if I banded to the point of gangrene all they're gonna do is cut off the infected tissue and leave the rest which is extremely painful.

Welcome aboard!

Have you looked at whats readily available in nearby other states, such as North Carolina? Also, I'd reach out to your local transgender resource center for options too.

This is definitely not a diy. I've tried banding personally (even way back as a teen, too!), but after being informed about the horrors of gangrene or blood clots, I've stopped and am going the surgical route (as much as i want them off to be a more "me", i want to be alive afterwards so i can live being "me".) This is a great site here with awesome resources.

I'm not living in SC, so my information is just what I find online, but from what I'm finding in a brief search, it appears that the ban on transition surgery only applies to Minors... You said you are 27, which is well past that age (If you are lying to us and are under 18, you aren't supposed to be here... ) I found
https://www.scstatehouse.gov/sess125_20 ... ls/274.htm which in relevant part says:
Section 40-47-330. In order for a person twenty-one years of age or older to receive gender transition procedures, he must first obtain a referral from his primary care physician and a referral from a licensed psychiatrist who must certify that the person has been diagnosed with gender dysphoria or a similar condition by the psychiatrist and that the psychiatrist believes that gender transition procedures would be appropriate for the person.

Section 40-47-340. Public funds may not be used directly or indirectly for gender reassignment services.
All the news articles I saw basically said the same thing. (And FWIW, the ACLU has already filed legal challenges to the law)

I also found a long document from Blue Cross of SC https://www.southcarolinablues.com/web/ ... e-therapy/

Which said that while individual plans varied in exactly what they covered, the general Blue Cross policy was pretty much in line with the WPATH SOCv8 guidelines and specifically mentioned orchiectomy and penectomy as covered... I also saw a couple of clinics that said they offered 'Gender Affirming Care"

So from where I'm sitting it looks to me like you may have to work at it, but that it should be possible to get surgery in SC. So don't give up all hope...

South Carolina cut funding to facilities that perform elective genital amputation procedures on adults. That's why MUSC Charleston quit doing them. I don't have the time, money or resources to leave the state either. I have to do it myself. Any advice? Further, do you know of any private cutters that'll do it in this state?

As I said in my first response to you, we do not advise people on DIY surgery and we don't allow offering or asking for cutters...

It probably won't be cheap, but have you looked for PRIVATE clinics that can do the surgery. When I was looking earlier, I saw at least two that were advertising it, and possibly a couple of others that hinted that they could - many don't explicitly post that they do this on their web pages but if you ask...
