Married Eunuch
I wonder what percent of eunuch's are married to women?
What percent of these married women would then have sexual intercourse with another man while her eunuch watches or serves?

My husband is a Eunuch - my girlfriend and I neutered him (with his consent) a couple of years ago. I regularly have sex with other girls whilst he watches and helps.

I am currently married to a woman and likely to remain so in the future. I was castrated 4 years ago for medical reasons. Sex is no longer a issue with me but my wife is still active. It took some getting used to but I have adjusted the only way you can. Most men in my position have elected to use chemicals for the same result but my doctor at the time recomended the procudure. To me it seems silly that most men that loose their balls would prefure to keep them but the ones that want to have them removed can't get it done for one reason or another.

I am a lover of a Eunuch, and several ladies. Sal.limpone is my lover, a member here. He does all I could want from a genetic male, as I do not wish any contact with a Man's set, as a result of constant rapes by my dad, brothers, and all of my dads friends from age 8 through age 14
Sal was sexually destroyed about 9 years ago, but still has a distorted set attached between his legs. He also helped his deceased wife who was also Bi, in any way he could, to get sexually involved with other women, and other men.
We both feel if you love some one you want them to be happy, and that includes sexually.

Re: Married Eunuch
Several of the mostly Italian castrati singers (sopranos, mezzosopranos and contraltos) of the 17th to early 20th centuries were married, as related in "The Castrati In Opera" by Angus Heriot (1956), of which I have a copy, and so were apparently capable of sexual intercourse. Also, the castrati were often in demand as lovers by wealthy women of these times, because of their smooth skin and the fact that they could not make the women pregnant.
Most notable of these married castrati was Giusto Tenducci (1736-?), from Siena, who spent most of his working life in England and Ireland as a singer and singing teacher, and who married a Protestant Irishwoman, Dora Maunsell, of Limerick. Incidentally, I have recently received a photocopy from the British Library of Giusto Tenducci's singing textbook of vocal exercises for soprano voices, "Instructions Of Mr Tenducci To His Scholars" (London, 1785), which I will be trying out as part of my own singing exercises. I will be scanning it into image files, and uploading it to a file-hosting site from which it will be able to be downloaded by anyone interested.
In the case of castrati, even those "made" before puberty or with only vestigial testicles which have never functioned (I am one, so I know), the adrenal androgens, mostly dihydroepiandrosterone instead of the much more damaging testosterone and which are supposed to be between 4% and 10% of average testicular secretion, secreted by the adrenal cortex along with corticosteroids, should be sufficient to enable erections (which however are not spontaneous) and orgasm. If not, the obvious solution would be to take Viagra, which has no hormonal side-effects.

Re: Married Eunuch
I have been married now for nearly 45 years. My wife gave me four children (sadly, the youngest was killed in an accident when only two years old) and we have five grandchildren.
I was castrated on September 22nd, 2003 in a private hospital in England. My wife came with me to see the surgeon when we fixed a date for my surgery. She came with me to the hospital and waited while I had the surgery and then drove me back home afterwards.
I posted a full account of my castration and of my uneventful recovery following surgery to the EA at that time.
Although, obviously, my wife and I no longer have any sexual intercourse, we have a very happy marriage. We had a very sexual life when younger (hence the births of four children) but we now find that there many things in life, other than sex, that we can now enjoy together.
Terry (a very contented eunuch)

I agree entirely. Once your balls are gone, you don't hanker after sex anymore. There are just so many things in life that can be enjoyed without any sexual overtones. In my case, my wife has had a hysterectomy and she has gone through the menopause. She no longer needs the experience of actual sexual intercourse. She had plenty of that in the early days of our marriage.
Now that my wife's libido has diminished, it is much better that I have been castrated so evening the sexual balance between us.

Re: Married Eunuch
I have been married for 13 years to the same beautiful woman. It has been over six months since I was castrated due to a medical condition. We have sex as much if not more now than we did before. Yes, I do take TRT but find at times it makes me want to go through the roof. I admit I am noticing a little more difficulty keeping it up as before but I don't worry too much. I asked my wife that if I am no longer to perform for her if she would be wanting to take on a casual friendly lover. She laughed and said that sex was not the reason she married me and she was not interested in finding anyone to help her. She said that I can use more than just a penis to satisfy her, plus she prefers sex a lot less than I do as it is. I think she is just waiting till I become more mellowed out so she can enjoy the true me anyways. Love is grand.

Re: Married Eunuch
I have been a eunuch for over a year (Nov 2005) and am married. My wife was included in the decision to have the surgery and accompanied me to the surgery center. In Dec. 2006 I had the scrotum removed. Both operations were performed by qualified surgeons, the first by a Urologist, the other by a Cosmetic surgeon. It was not easy to find doctors who were willing to perform the surgery but the search was worth while.
My sexual activity with my wife is better now than before, and more frequent. Although I am on HRT(depoT), I did allow myself to go to castrate level for a period of time. I was urged by my urologist, for medical reasons, to get back on the testosterone. My sex drive did diminish somewhat during that time but normal relations with my wife was still possible and enjoyable. I inject .75 cc (150 units) of DepoT every seven days to prevent the highs and lows associated with higher dosages less frequently. I hardly notice any change physically or psycologically from the shots.
The feeling of being smoothe, like there had never been anything there, has been a wonderful feeling for me. I do not consider myself to be a "male" but in every way enjoy manhood. Unless you have had this experience you probably don't have a clue. It's great!

I am sorry that I don't know the answer to your question. I was castrated in September 2003 by a fully qualified urological surgeon in a private hospital in southern England. However, there was a medical reason. In December 2001, I had been diagnosed as having early signs of prostate cancer. I had radiotherapy over a period of seven weeks. Also, as part of the treatment, I had four-weekly implants of Zoldex LA for a period of twelve months. The Zoladex LA reduced my testosterone level to the castrate level.
I liked the way that I felt as a "chemical castrate". To use my urologist's word, the radiotherapy had "fried my prostate". Castration is still a recognised treatment for prostate cancer. My urologist agreed to castrate me. I have described in the Eunuch Archive my experience of being castrated. The surgery went very well and the were no post-operative complications.
I should point out that the cost of the operation was £1,600. This was paid by my private medical insurance company.
Certainly, in the UK you will have to be referred to a surgeon by your GP. You may have seen references in the Euncuh Archive to a clinic in Belgium that will carry out castration. It has a web site. Perhaps someone who reads this posting will post the website of the clinic in Belgium.
I wish you success in your search. I would strongly agree with others who have posted in the EA of the importance of having a "trial run" on testosterone-reducing drugs before having actual surgery. I can confirm from my own personal experience that castration is well worth it in a happy marriage.

Hi jlc9292--
I notice you live in the same US State as myself. Any interest in getting together at some point to discuss our similar experiences? We both became eunuchs at approximately the same time (me in Dec 2005).

Well I have been a Eunuch for well over twenty years and am still Married. I would love to say that it's been easy, but I can assure you that at least for my wife, it has not. We have both learned to adjust to my situation however. I can understand how difficult it can be for others in the same situation.

Re: Married Eunuch
Sex is a very important part of a marriage. I became a Eunuch due to a degenerative illness and certainly not because I chose to be one. The first two or three years were absolute Hell for me emotionally, but even in the most adverse conditions, the human body tends to addapt. Now my wife and I are more like best friends and I have encouraged her to have a B/F to take care of what I no longer can. This may seem like a harsh alternative, but it has relieved me of the frustrations and has helped me develop into the physically and mentally sound Eunuch that I am today.

I had mine done by a Urologist that my GP suggested. I had it done because of Chronic Testicular pains, damage from a disease .
Sex is important to us and I use weekly injections of Testosterone Cypionate to maintain my male sex drive and to avoid depression, anxiety and other side effects that I had without it. Life is very good without the constant pains and I would guess our sex life is more frequent and feels as good or better because I don't have to worry about getting nudged the wrong way and being in extra pain for three days. I had implants put in and these have done wonders for my male ego. My natal ones were in sad shape.

My balls don't function any more since I crushed the cords. My wife enjoys sex and I am ambivalent about it now, so I arrange for a male friend to visit overnight every once in a while to keep her satisfied. I can still get turned on at times and have sex with her too, but not very often.

Re: Married Eunuch
cost
It varies based on who does it and a little bit on what type you have. You don't want to know how much mine did because Insurance paid for my pair and the Costs were rather insane.
Dr Bowers, Dr Alter and (I think) Dr Reed all quote a cash price. *They might take insurance I'm not sure.
