One Year Later

Post by plix (imported) »

One year ago today I was surgically castrated. In the time between then and today lots has happened, too much to have room to reflect on. But to sum things up, I have lost most libido, erectile function, some body hair, skin has softened, breasts have bud, and I deal with regular stares in public. I also take estrogen, so the last thing won't necessarily happen to you.

Do I regret what I did? Yes and no. There are times when I wish I could take it all back, but there are also times when I am pleased with who I am now. I do believe I am a completely different person because of it and believe many of those changes are for the better. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know whatever happens I will take it as it comes and let whatever will be be.

I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful support you have offered me this past year. Without the Archive I would not have met so many great people and who knows where I would be right now. Thank you so much. πŸ‘₯

Hang in there my friend. I know much of what you are going through. Yes being a eunuch is a different life. Most people just do not get what it really means till they are one. Never look back as to what if I was not done. It will just eat at you woundering. It is done and what I know of you it seems to be for the good. πŸ‘―πŸ‘₯

You have a great support group in this site. We are here to help you in any way we can. I am looking forward to meeting you in August.

You've come a long way in just one year. Your journey still has many interesting twists and turns ahead. If you look back, I think you'll agree that you are far happier with yourself and with where you are in life today than you were a year-and-a-half ago. There've been some rocky stretches along the way, but the direction seems very good for you.

I hope that you will be able to make it to the Portland gathering of the clan. I'm looking forward to seeing you there.

Congratulations on your first anniversary/birthday.

May you have many more happy ones to come.

Yes, CONGRATULATIONS Joshie for two reasons....surviving your new life as a eunuch and for finding a truly unique life partner. Ken too is a unique eunuch.

Congratulations on your one year anniversary. As I read your posts I saw like others that you are a survivor. There is quite a learning curve as you adjust to being a eunuch. The journey gets easier and I am glad to read you have someone special to share the journey.

It is good to read of your experience.

On September 22 of this year, it will be three years since I was surgically castrated. I have not taken any drugs of any kind. I have experienced the joy of being a eunuch unnmodified by any hormones but only the absence of testosterone. So I can continuje to sign myself:

Terry (a very contented eunuch)
