I think it's sorta amazing that there are so many visitors are viewing this forum!! It's interesting....imagine how cool it would be if 76 MEMBERS were viewing! *hint hint* :D

Well...that is all. I'm bored, sorry hahaha

I confess, I lurked for quite a while before I joined. Once I realized I wasn't so alone in my fantasies, I took the plunge and joined. Maybe others will do the same.

I've been known to also read threads without logging in... Which means I'm flagged as a guest, although I'm actually a member...

I am always surprised by the number of guests. Think of all the new perspectives and ideas not being posted. All the friendships not made.

I seldom actually log in unless there's something I want to say. So Andrew, who knows? Perhaps a good proportion of those 'guests' *were* actual members?

And, after a few years of reading the posts, it all get a bit the same. There's a guy who keeps spamming about how he's going to donate his to a museum, but never does; there's the guys who ask the same questions which have been answered a hundred times in the posts, often in complete, comprehensive and exact detail; and there's the usual trolls who get past the... I have to say: usually excellent gatekeepers at the archive. Thanks guys, you do a fantastic job which most of us appreciate more than you get told. I suppose it's being in the arse end of an increasingly repressed united kingdom with no access to eunuchs which is getting me down. Anyhow, proud to be a member.

Probably 99% are NOT members. The number of hits this site generates, between the forums and the story archive, is astounding. Most of them follow direct inquiries, or just follow trails of links. As I recall, we get around 250,000 distinct ISP hits every month

Very impressive, one wouldn't think this was a popular site considering the subject matter. But then again, sexual stuff is very popular on the net anyway.

well, i remember i just stuck to the stories for ages before i got the nerve to slip into the forums. i'm still a bit shy but working on it. you would be surprised how many people just come to the site to browse and see what's going on. i have a few non-member friends that like to keep up with stories and occasionally skim through the posts.

I'm grateful for this site because it makes me feel less alone. I always thought my fantasies were incredibly strange and rare. Now I know that there are plenty more folks like me - and the ones here are those that are willing to admit it. Imagine how many more there must be...

Like others here, I lurked for quite a while, then finally became a member. Really, my castration fetish is something that don't want to share with just anyone.

To answer Salami's post as for why I have no schedueled surgery date, frankly, I think the surgery is WAY OVERPRICED and is needless when you consider the simple and economical use of depo provera is so much easier. A lifetime supply of depo provera costs less than the surgery. Additionally, the chemical castration method is something that can be backed away from, not that I would want to, it is nice to know that I can always just stop taking the shots. Even though there seems to be some lasting effects, most of the effects of chemical castration go away when you stop the shots.

Yeah, I lurked earlier in my teens, because a) I was underage and b) I was scared. I think the day I turned 18 I started chatting, and later that year signed up (oh gosh, 2004! Seems so far away hahaha). I agree that a lot of the posts are monotonous, but for new members, to post their ideas and get real feedback, I think that's a great thing.

What keeps me coming back now is the community, even though I'm not exactly a major contributor, I feel like people respect me. It was very cool to know I wasn't alone, I agree with you stewie69, to know I wasn't alone was major.

It's like a coming out process, first you find the site, then the stories, then the board, then the chat, then you join hahaha :D It's a beautiful thing!

I think even more interesting are the hundreds of members who sign up, but never log on again.

It's awesome that you posted! It's a big step, but I think you'll find that we're an easy bunch to fall in with :)

I think it is because most of the visitors are afraid to become members. Many of them may be using computers that they do not have complete control of. They could be using a computer at work, at a library, that they share with others in their household.

I really, really like your avatar!

The 'not feeling alone' part has been nice. :D I visited on and off for a long while, only making an account once I began to seriously research things. I have to say the info and people here have been such a great help to me.

Yeah, I guess I didn't think about the computer issue (security, sharing computers etc). That makes sense. Well, I'm just glad people are here and learning and connecting. Networking and community building is one of the Internet's greatest assets (the other obviously being YouTube videos of cats and their craaaaaazy shinanigans!!)

And thank you curious_guy and Paolo, my avatar is actually me, and I did the face paint myself :) And that was me being a little proud of myself...hahaha

You'd have to see the episode of Get A Life that that's from for it to make much sense. :D The part at the end, as the credits are rolling Chris Elliot actually has a cat strapped to his face while singing Mr Bojangles in a high voice. lol.. It's hilarious. That was probably my favorite episode of that idiotic show (I love stupid silly comedy).

With all the independent-minded eunuchs and castration wannabes that frequent this site, can you imagine how many guys would rush to be castrated if it were both affordable and socially acceptable? Handicapped, elderly, disfigured, sexually depraved, intimately disinterested, to name just a few. With the world's population exploding at an alarming rate, wouldn't castration be part of a solution that the right wing nuts cases couldn't even put down with all that scripture on our side?
