A humble request: A writer's corner?

Post by mounds_dont »

When ever you get time, as if, right? Could you create a forum for writers and artists? I don't know about other people, but I would like to get more creatively active. Maybe there are other people in our group who would like to do the same?

That’s something we’ve been planning to do. I think fusion is probably on vacation so probably some time in January we’ll have sub forums for the stories.

That sounds great. Thank you!
It's too bad images take up so much (valuable) space. We could have a curated gallery of other Eunuch Art,

I don't know, but I strongly doubt that we will have an image area... It is a regrettable fact, but there are a lot of potential legal issues when dealing with any sort of online activity involving sex, especially when you start dealing w/ gender modifications the way we do... Text is relatively safe in most places, especially if one avoids mentioning minors in any detailed way... Images are FAR more problematic, even drawings and cartoons, let alone photos or photo-realistic images....

All it could take in theory is ONE image that some unknown gov't official decides MIGHT be "Child Sexual Abuse Material" to land us in a world of difficulties. Fusion and Dandelion as the site operators would be most at risk, and I don't think they want that sort of potential hazard...

I was thinking paintings (landscapes), furniture, pottery, sculpture, photos. Nudes, sure, but clasical (fig leaf included?) PG 13+? My mind didn't even go there to the child stuff. Which is probably why I would make a terrible moderator.

Nothing gets posted, until reviewed. That sort of thing. I don't want to visit anyone in prison, nor do I want to be a resident of one, myself.
I live on 200 or so acres, shared with my 3 German Shepherds, my wife and 30 sheep. I like space. Prison would kill me.

I got my orchie in 2005. I tried T replacement with patches and injections. Then low dose T with patches, but quit all of that in 2010. Since then, sex is like apple pie. It's good when I have it, but I don't need it.

Sounds nice, and you probably don't need to worry about the usual sheep jokes.... (When men are men, and the sheep are nervous... )

Glad you are happy with your orchie, I'll just mention my usual thing about keeping an eye on your bone density, and let it go...

Sex isn't really on the menu for me, but I do enjoy a good cuddle w/ my GF (though even that is tough with both of us in wheelchairs and our respective medical issues).

LOL! about the sheep! Yea they still get nervous. We shear them late spring, just after lambing. So we have a bunch of naked sheep for a while.

Bone density. Lot's of factors there. I get plenty of excersize and I take suplements (D and Calcium Citrate) and we have been talking about T or E in low doses to help. So far, I don't have a bone density problem. We just want to have options, if there is a need.

FWIW, I have been pretty happy w/ the E patches I've been on almost since I started on Chemistry... It has made my boobs grow some, but I still fit in the "normal male" range if I have a shirt on...

It isn't to bad in terms of hassle factor, I just have to remember to swap out the stick-on patch twice a week, along with the general pain of getting any prescription filled. My doc says that shots would also be an option, and supposedly that is less expensive than patches if paying for it. (I'm covered by insurance so not a problem)

I do have to worry about bone density more than most because I'm already at high risk of problems because of my SCI... I essentially had to promise my TG doc to do some form of hormone replacement forever in order to get her to sign off on getting castrated.

They make once weekly patches too, if it makes it easier

Wouldn't make a huge difference, as I'd still need to remember which day to swap them on... I don't know if they are new, but my doc was saying the 2x week patches were the best option - she didn't even mention the weekly ones...

I sometimes wonder a bit about how uniform the dose release on those patches is, I don't worry about it because I do OK either way, but still... According to my doc I'm on a dose that gives me the "average" E level of a pre-menopausal woman - except that mine stays the same all the time, while a woman's level fluctuates greatly as she cycles... It works at any rate.
