A vasectomy will not matter when an orchiectomy is done since everything gets cut away. I recommend against scrotum removal unless you have one of those pendulous ones that hang halfway to your knees. Everything will shrink afterwards.

You would appear to have achieved your goal, based on your reported symptoms (hot flashes, etc.). If you seek medical treatment, be prepared for a major expense.

I've got only one thing to say to all you wannabe eunuchs. DON'T DO IT! Don't even try. The pain is unimaginable (until you've experienced it).

I'm not on any form of T and haven't lost any masculinity after 8 months of being surgically castrated. I am seeing some changes - mostly just some body hair loss, and some extra fat around the waist (gained about 10 pounds), but that is all. No boobs or any feminization noticed.

Perhaps. But we all have choices and what we wish might not be always what we get. In the case of having an Orchiectomy I think I'm echoing a lot of others who say the real thing is far more then a reduction in sex drive. And a lot of people even tho they may want that low to no sex drive don't ...

Randy, please pardon me for saying this, but if you go back on T wouldn't that make your reason for wanting castration moot?

I've got a few health issues that may be due to castration or they may be due to my age, but I have absolutely no desire to try a dose of replacement T to find out.

I had my testicles removed through the scrotum by Dr. Kimmel almost 4 months ago. The cord ends have vanished. At least he did that part of the job right. I do still have a large crevice in my scrotum where he everted the skin with his too tight sutures.
