📢 NEW SURVEY – Usefulness of the WPATH Standards of Care

A research study from the University of Hawai‘i is now open for participation.

🧪 The study explores how the WPATH Standards of Care v8 – Eunuch Chapter has supported individuals in accessing gender-affirming medical or surgical care (e.g., orchiectomy, penectomy, nullification).

📝 Participants are invited to complete a completely anonymous 30-minute survey to share their experience. No personal information is collected.

📚 The results will contribute to a medical journal article and help improve access and care for the Eunuch community.

Does anyone noticed voice changes due to castration?

For castration-related posts that just don’t seem to fit anywhere else.

My voice was certainly high during the actual act! But seriously no long term effect on my voice, as others have said I think this is at after puberty

I have noticed no changes in my voice.

The only change I did notice was when I lost hearing in my left ear but that made my voice sound a little higher then I could hear it before.

But that was due to my hearing actually changing not anything to do with being an eunuch.
Just your friendly neighbourhood guy.

My voice deepened dramatically after years of testosterone replacement, long before my castration. I'm told on almost a daily basis that I have a "Radio Voice", or asked if I'd been in broadcasting.I never had a high or squeaky voice, but now it's a deep, rich baritone, thanks to exogenous testosterone since 1993,

I was going to reply, but I see my reply was already posted by several others.

I'm glad that my voice won't change, because I depend on it: I do all the voices in a puppet series. Imagine no longer being able to do that...
