Respect to a lot of others here who are chasing trans, libido reduction, modification and so on.... But this is for guys like me... Straight male who are battling with lusts and porn and are indeed tired of this cycle

This pdf was written in 2019 by an American Prof who did some research to this chastity topics and castration related stuffs that embattled the early Christians...they had no choice than to go into the desert to seek peace...yet the lusts dwelled within....

That's the link to the research article....it talked about how the devout men had miraculous castrations(without any bodily marks) from angels, heavenly beats and saints who passed away long ago...of how they totally achieved divine intervention (total chastity) out of heavenly assistance



We here may not be chasing a divine goal...but we need peace..don't we?.... We deserve the rest of mind that our hearts yearn after...we just need the eunuch calm...who else is tired of beating off to naked ladies on internet?... As a possible thing to consider - is there virtue if there is no temptation???

If a person castrates himself in order to not be tempted by sexual thoughts it seems like almost cheating compared to the person that does not do so... Is it not more virtuous to still be ABLE to have the thoughts and perform the actions, but choose to refrain from them?

In one of Heinlein's books (Glory Road) his hero describes an alien race that practices a strict monogamy, but supposedly didn't get offended if propositioned. The hero went on to say he wasn't tempted test this himself as to him they looked and smelled like spoiled bread dough - There is no virtue where there is no temptation...

That's a interesting point. But I'll try to be the devil's advocate; there are very few who would submit to this sacrifice, even when failing at the temptations. What virtue could be greater than the self sacrifice, just as castration/mutilation?

I also would like to ponder that the castration itself can be a temptation, thus you would be falling to it too if that's your desire.

The religious angle doesn't really do anything for me, so temptation in that regard wasn't big factor in my decision, but thought it was an alternative viewpoint worth raising - so looks like we have lots of devil advocacy going on...

Flip side, not exactly religious temptation per se, but I've seen several (mostly on EAv2) who specifically mentioned their reason to get fixed as being 'porn addicts' or even 'sex addicts' that felt the temptation (which mostly they were yielding to) was taking to much of their lives and were wanting to make the self sacrifice to deal with it...

IMHO one of the biggest difference between the Eunuch world and the binary-trans world is that the variety of motivations to become a Eunuch is much wider than the ones for making a simple binary switch...
