Sounds like yet ANOTHER reason I'm glad that I actually went through all the hoops needed to actually delete my Fakebook account... I try to avoid links to FB as much as I can, and have got all my privacy add-ons set to block it if I click on one by accident (they aren't always obvious :evil:

That happened gradually ;-)

And people already have 'social networks' there and investment. So most did. At least initially.

Yeah that was a rhetorical question. I was “part of the problem” in being one of the people who did the work in the early days both in what has become the default strategies and methodologies that evolved into the drivers of social media, as well as the early days of boundary-setting around privacy and consent that have been flagrantly trampled on and swept to the garbage heap by the tech world. So, I get what’s happening and why…
