so I thought I'd check in for a brief update.
I'm now 2-1/2 months post op from my breast augmentation surgery and things are just great. Been doing my daily message and they have pretty much settled in to their final position. The incisions have almost completely healed now and they look just great and they make me feel absolutely wonderful. They're the prefect size for my frame and build and my final size is now a DD cup.
I finally got very very tired of my short hair and based on it's length, it was going to take a very long time to grow it out to the point were I was going to be happy with it, so after consulting with 3 different salons that specialize in hair extensions I finally found one that could do extensions for me. I spent almost 10 hours at this salon last Thursday doing corrective coloring and having a full set of hair extensions installed, but it was well worth the time and money spent. They look great and I now have hair that is about 4" past my shoulders. They should last about 8 months and at that time I can either have them redone or start wearing my own hair again depending on how much my hair grows during this time. I just love them!
We also made a trip to the college that my youngest son attends this past Friday to spend his 25th birthday with him. The evening proved to be far more exciting than it should have been ending with a 3 hour stay at the ER of the local hospital there. We took him out for dinner where he consumed a nice meal along with about 4 beers. After dinner he complained about not feeling well and got up from the table to use the restroom. He got about 10 feet from the table and passed out. He fell to the floor landing on his shoulder and since he was apparently unconscious when he went down his head also struck the hard tile floor.
I rushed over to him and found him unconscious. I gently picked up his head a slapped his face several times to bring him back to conciseness not having any smelling salts. He came back to but began to go into shock. By this time the manager of the restaurant was by my side so I told him to get my son's feet elevated, which he did. He had also called the paramedics who arrived shortly. He was placed on a back board and a neck brace and rushed to the local ER. After performing a CAT scan on him to make certain there was no head injury, it was determined that the problem was caused by a low blood sugar level. His reading was 65 when he arrived at the ER but was back up to around 94 an hour or two later.
He was finally released after about 3 hours. We then proceeded to take him back to his house where one of his roomates agreed to watch over him for the balance of the evening. We saw him again on Saturday morning and he was doing much better. His neck was still sore and will be for the next few days, but thank goodness he is okay. Needless to say, it was quite a scare. :-\
