Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
As an example of mom's confusion:
Tonight about 9:30pm she awoke from her nap on the couch. She demanded to be taken to the living room so she could stretch out on the couch. I tried to explain to her that she was on the couch in the living room but she was convinced she was elsewhere. I wheeled her up to her bedroom but she didn't want to be there. I wheeled her back to the living room in front of the couch. She crawled on the couch. I explained to her she had been sleeping there earlier but she insisted she wasn't. I gave up and went back to watch TV.

Mackie,
You need to get simple alarms on your doors and windows in case she decides that she wants to leave.

She can't go very far without falling and that's on a walker. She can't unlock the doors because she can't reach the locks nor would she have the strength to turn the keys.
A-1 et al, I appreciate your interest, concern and suggestions. Keep em coming.
Better yet, do some digging and discover I'm related to Warren Buffet or Bill Gates

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
I left the house at 2:30pm to drive several miles to get my pipe tobacco. When I returned 25 minutes later, she was on the phone to somebody sayig this stranger was telling her lies. I had told her when I left that three years before today she didn't need help, drove her own car and bought her own groceries. Naturally, she didn't believe me
Well, if the police arrive I feel okay. The mice are down to two or three souls. The ants are still here but I'm committing a regimen of ant-genocide now everyday. My house is clean and my kitchen and every room mom goes into is immaculate. I'd say I have nothing to worry about from the police.
It seems everytime mom gets worried, scared or angry, she forgets who I am. Right now, she's asking where her son is
.
I hope when I get to 92 yrs old, I'm not more senile than I am now. If I am I wanna be forced to live in that HUGE mobile home mansion that Riverwind lives in. Unlike mom, I have no kids to burden or look after me.
Hmmmm maybe I can talk A-1, Blaise or Slammr into adopting me

I'd be glad to Wolf. The only problem is that when you're 92, I'll be 98. I don't know who will be looking after whom.

Well get mom on some vitamins and food for the Brain that is left. She will enjoy herself and others much more. Do You know a good source of vitamins in Your neighborhood ??
I just got the "Dr Leonards" cathalog on health care items ((1-800-785-0880)) and I found a newer version of Robert Barefoots now called CORAL CALCIUM ULTRA for the same price as the CoralCalciumSupreme I use to get there. $14.95 for 90m Capsules and it has lots of A,C,D,E and CoQ10 in it besides the 75 Trace Elements from the Ocean - with a perfect proportion it sais of Calcium and Magnesium. Read up on his web sites and get his casette and or CD for like $2 and stufy what he sais about "why calcium". He is a very smart Chemist and I believe what he sais about the Calcium Factor's role in keeping each cell healthy and the reproduction of the DNA as well.Don't worry - knowledge won't heart you and Mother will enjoy like more each day. By the way I am 150 going on 200, was born in 29 and fell like 25 - the mantra works for You too ... Hi No Kidding. N3RF

The police just left my house. They saw the house was clean, I was cooking dinner and that our freezer and fridge were full of food. Mom was calmer then. I showed the police my ID and they told mom I was her son. She didn't believe the police either heh heh. Oh well.

Hello Wolfie.
I just got in the mail like a "Journal of Alternative Medicin" and on the page 6 it had an item I thought would be of interest to You, Your MOM and all of us :
"caution:These prescription drugs ZAP your energy" it said with a list of items.
I see other topics listed also of interest of all of us... Call their number on get on their mailing LIST 1-888-768-3088 ext 325.
I hope You will get Your mother nutrified so she and You will live a happy and active life together.
I stay with simple vitamins and minerals and bits of knowledge that I can afford and like, but in the sources of information we do find Nuggets of Golden Wisdom, so use it visely dear Wolfie.

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
Hej Hej - No Problem _ I get lots of good infor and use some of it myself, especially the basics - like years ago I was into 1000 mg C and 100 mg Niacin (or Niacinamide - with out the heat flush effect) (( I like the Heat Flush effect that lasts onl a minute - so I know it WORKS)) -- Hi. Then recentl we were into Chelation to clean the "pipes" till the bottles (3) ran out.- I think I gave You the referense to that one. I am very fond of Corall Calcium Supreme and Dr Barefoot, the Chemist. He sent me some samples and a Casette Tape that I reall really think is very REVEALING, so much so I tell everyone to get on - he use to sell them for like 2 dollars. No when You go to his web site , click on Products and then again click n "other products" and You find the lecture on his CD that he still sells for like $2 dollars . I think. The sound track from his lecture ecplains why we need CALCIUM to keep the Cells and the DNA healthy - wow it is a great speach.. Even explains what a QUAK is...Hi

My mom's selfishness reached a new low today. My pants torn down the right side of the thigh and are not suitable to go out in public. I was down to one pair of pants.
I asked mom for enough cash to buy a pair of slacks, cords or jeans, whichever was less expensive. Her reply was NO.
I can't go on strike. So Monday, I try to seek a part-time job wearing torn pants. That should look impressive.

Does the Salvation Army have a STORE near You ?? THey have an awful lot of nice clothes for sale at really very low dollars. Any resycling store or outfit will fix You upp with Pants and Shirts and Ties for next to nothing. Just an idea that came to my MIND what I for left of it.
By the way a sawing nedle and some thread will fix Your old ones fine or ever Scotch TAPE ?? just kidding, maybe Duct Tape will hold up. Some sawing stores use a Cloth that You use for meding and with a HOT iron You Press it on permanent. I think those DOLLAR STORES sell kits like that also.
So how is the Micis doing and the Goons from You know where ?? Regards from N3RF

I'll have to pass on the Salvation Army Store or most thrift stores as I have no income, but I appreciate the suggestion

I was going to say, "I see a light at the end of the tunnel." In my case, I'll say, "I see a light at the end of the pant leg." A generous EA member, who shall remain anonymous, has offered to mail me enough money to get some pants. I should get it in the next 3-4 days
It will feel strange to wear pants without holes or tears
PS: My scheduele for next week (if all hell doesn't unfold)
Monday - Reapply for my food stamps.
Tuesday - Pay (with mom's money) our utility bills
Wednesday - Apply for conservatorship over my mom.

It seems Hell unfolded but at least it wasn't a suprise. She's still cranky and accusatory today but hopefully she'll calm down by late tonight. By tomorrow morning, she will have forgotten her harsh words.
I did manage to get all our bills paid, so tomorrow, I'll reapply for Food Stamps.
If Wednesday is calmer, I'll see about Conservatorship.
The best laid plans of mice and men........or wolves, tend to go asunder.
*apologies to Steinbeck

WOW..just a few hours ago, mom was ranting and raving about calling the police and getting all my friends out of the house who were upsetting her ad now a sudden calm has hit. She hobbled out of her room asking if I was the person she was made at. I saw an instant opportunity and took it. I said, "no mom, he left but I'm here now." She believed me, thank gawd. Now she's in a good mood.
My friends, who mom was referring to, don't exist except in her mind. I often wished there were other caregivers here so I could get a few hours off..heheh

Yes Mac -
those chemicals called medicines can have all kind of side effects and causing ?? maybe bad moods as well ??.
I was thinking about the "food supplements" sometimes called Vitamins etc, that are not NOT medicins but added to Your diet to ensure a good health:
I just got another :Health News" from Health Resources. They also send me several Email with ideas. But in this issue I noted right away on Page 6 "Your Mind is a Terrible Thing to lose" and the story goes on for several pages about PS for the Brain.
Call them and get on their Mailing List 1-800-471-4007. They are in Hueytown, AL.
We bought their "Natural Oral Chelations" some time ago and got a free bottle of Mineral Power with it. They seem to be a good outfit to deal with. The Chelation cleans out the sludge out of the blood vessels which I think is good thing once in a while.
I also note that Merck has a medical "help" program 1-800-50-MERCK for getting medication for less "merckhelps.com"
Find out all those details about mental side effects of medicin and get the nutritional supplements for MOM and You Yourself too ... Hi N3RF
