Today I was siting on my driveway in the shade of my Oak Tree when the world began buzzing. I looked up and saw several thousand bees in a swarm attacking my tree. Actually, I think the swarm was making a raid on an existing nest. 20 minutes later there were dozens of dead bees on the ground and on me.

I decided to go back into my house when the neighbor next door said he was going to squirt them with the hose. A good soaking might have turned ordinary peaceful honey bees into a Killer Bee Swarm.

Unlike suicidal National Geographic photojournalists, I was not about to watch the mayhem close up.

Meanwhile in the Heartland, markle was weeding a flower bed and inadvertently proceeded to destroy a recently built condo of 'ground hornets.'

One got him on the side about belt line under the shirt, and another tagged the left jaw bone.

Toward evening, the condo was in undated with a commercial spray and is believed to be unlivable by any previous inhabitants (which markle watched with some small satisfaction despite a few Zen-like notions.)

markle -seems- fine save for the beastly itching at sting sites.

YARD SALE

Liz is holding a yard sale for me today. Knicknacks, cookbooks, mom's dresses, mom's blouses, her winter coats, her record albums, etc

By 6:30pm, our Yard Sale had netted $4.00.

The Cable Guy

The Time-Warner Cable Guy arrived at 10:00am to change my phone service from Verizon to Time-Warner. By the time he was almost finished he said, "you now have phone service." However, the new modem and my computer couldn't agree on an IP number.

It seems now that I will have two modems: one for Internet and one for my phone.

Does that sound reasonable?

As long as they are not charging you more for the extra modem, it is no big deal...

You should only need one modem. You will need a router to make the computer to run.

Well, on the 1 of September, I paid all my utility companies what I owed them leaving $50 for food, pet chow, etc.

Then, recently I realized, "OMG I'm out of bath tissue." LOL

What a revolting predicament.

Finally, a neighbor donated one roll for me and one for my guests.

Next month, I buy food before paying the bills.

I need either more income or a rich wife.

I stopped using toilet paper years ago, it does not clean shit. I use the wipes, they are a lot cheaper and cleaner and oh yes they do clean shit.

How about a part time job, like at McDonalds, now don't laugh or think I am putting you down my friend. There are a lot of seniors and we all know your old, that work a couple hours a day at MickieD's. It might be just enough to put you over the top and it would not hurt that big retirement check you get every month.

Bad News: Liz accidently let my cat outside. Knowing my cat, she'll go under the house and get laid, the slut. She'll come home in a few days.

Good News: Liz and Jeanette are moving out in a few days. Monty, my garage guy, is Liz's husband and he has been bugging her for months. She and Jeanette decided tonight to move over the next few days to her friends place in the next town.

I'll miss the house cleaning and cooking but I'll save a fortune on food. Woo hoo.

Yes, borders moving out, I know how that feels. My son and his wife and there baby moved out on the first of this month, I love them more then they know but god it is wonderful to have my place back with just me, Rupert and Nelly.

Lets see, its about 6 weeks tell you have a full house again and 10 weeks tell those little paws are into everything.

Living out in the High Desert usually is hotter where we are at 100 F looks like for the next ten days will be in the 80ies he...he...he... LOL if the weather man gets it right...

Would like to say hi and get to know all of you my spelling is not that good I think they said 7th grad level what ever that means thank God for spell checker !! I have three small Dogs very Cute and Loveable anyway I have my Dad (70 years young) and a Great uncle (from my moms side ) he's turning 80 in November living with me sometimes it's rough trying to be a care taker Dads got CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) and my uncle is schizophrenic but he can take of him self but they both have needs enough of my problems...

I am glad to have found The Eunuch Archive there a lot of good people some nuts but that's OK adds a little spice to it
