To reward myself, I walked to JITB and had a big breakfast consisting of a burger and six tacos. Total cost $4.00

Monty collects shopping carts to fill with junk. This morning he had four of them in my driveway. I just now took two of them and walked them several blocks away.

I arose at 5:15 am this morning and made it to the bus stop by 6:00*am just in time to catch the bus. I made it to the hospital about 7:00 am and checked in with the outpatient blood work center. I had an hour wait so I spent the time pacing the hallways. They called in about 8 am and I was though by 8:05 am. I caught the bus and went home.
I find out on D-Day when the results of six tests were.

Better, I suppose, than General Montgomery using one of his hair-brained ideas like Operation Market Garden on my colon

Wasn't he in full retreat? No wait, he like to parade around and tell everybody who he was and how great he was. If he had been in charge we would still be fighting.

EXCITEMENT AT MY HOUSE TODAY
I was minding my own business at my computer when I heard a crash. It sounded like a home invasion robbery. Just as I started to get up, a cop with a vest and a helmet was pointing a gun at me telling me to put my hands on my head. Naturally, I complied
They did not handcuff me but ask me to go sit on my front porch while they served a search warrant. Liz, her daughter Jeanette, her son Clifford and Liz's friend, Patty were all handcuffed.
Thirty minutes later, I was taken aside and told why my house was raided. Liz's son, Clifford, had sold meth to an undercover cop from this house. grrrrrr
Liz and her son were taken away in the paddy wagon.
On a negative note, since all the doors of my house were opened, my gray cat escaped outside
Other than losing my gray cat, it was an exciting day.

If the bible was redone as a soap opera it would not have more twists and turns than the "Life of the Wolf".

Don't let them back into your house.

The cops found zero drugs in my house. They did find drugs on Liz's son.
I thought the cops were very polite and friendly.

I'm beginning to think the police raid and excuse was all a scam. Liz returned home last night as her outstanding warrant was found to be expired. Her son, who was accused of selling meth to an undercover police officer was released this morning. Something is definitely fishy.

Fun Fun Fun
I received a notice from the County today that I owe $300 in property taxes. With the deal I have recently worked out to pay my electricity bill with Edison, there is no way I can pay my property taxes on time -- short of giving up food for the next two months.

If you don't pay your taxes I believe all they can do is file a lien and make you pay them when you sell the house.
call legal aid and ask.
Fortunately (or not) there are no debtor prisons any more.
If things get too tough commit a non-violent Federal crime,
they send you to a nice clean prison, feed you well and provide
decent medical care.

My county first puts a lien on the house, then if you ignore that and continue not to pay, they schedule a sheriff's sale and sell your house for the debt.
Call legal aid is really good advice.

Well, thanks to IEunuch, my computer seems to be working better. He gave me a couple of different anti-virus programs and I ran them last night

Re: One Day in the Life of a Wolf - Memorial 7-25-20
Last night, my house guests were in and out the front door constantly from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am. I can't sleep knowing the front door is unlocked.
I finally locked the dead bolt which I still have the only key for. Liz "ordered" me to unlock the door saying she would "fuck me up" if I didn't. Not being as young or as brave as I used to be, I complied.
I feel a lil better now but last night I can say I felt my life was in jeopardy.

According to Liz, I'm either talking to the police or telling my friends to talk to the police for me. She says if she can confirm this, she'll destroy my computer.
I guess I'm

If I do nothing, I get more misery. If I seek help, I lose my computer. What do I do?

I would take those threats as Elder Abuse, she can be charged for that.

Maybe you can find a place to live and sell the house. Get a realtor to take it over to sell it? Put the cash in the bank and find a place to rent you can afford. The aging group may be able to help you with this.

Since my head pain subsided somewhat from a 9.2 down to a reasonable 2.0, I took the bus downtown and paid my $88 water/trash/sewage bill.
On the way back, I stopped off at the Office on Aging...or least I thought I did ... it was ann abandoned building now. There were no other federal buildings nearby to find where they had moved to.
Now that I think about it, I more than a little hesitant about telling anyone there what is going on in my house. Why, you ask? If they can't take dramatic action, I'm forced to suffer the backlash from Liz and her friends. I'm not emotionally or physically equipped to deal with that.
This will definitely take more thought.

Mac you need to report her threats and request an order of protection. No one knows better than I that if you do not stop the abuse and victimization you are giving her permission to continue. I let shame keep me quiet for too many years. Please Mac you do not deserve this intimidation, fear and threats.
