I just sent a letter to my APS social worker telling her I feel letdown. I was under the impression that I was going to be protected and now I feel I'm being thrown to the dogs.

"If" I go next Tuesday to the courthouse to pick up the eviction paperwork, and fill them out and wait for a Marshall to serve it, I and my computer will be facing the hate and revenge of tenants who have nothing to lose by trashing my computer or physically assaulting me.

And I'll have to face their wrath for thirty full days. I fear for my cats, my computer and myself.

I might have to think this over more carefully, after all.

You need to move out to some safe place while this goes on.

Find a relatively safe alley. Move in. If the police bother you get them to take you to jail or the homeless shelter. They'll arrange care for your cat.

Mac shouldn't have to be forced out of his own home, but if he doesn't stay somewhere safe he may be assaulted by this psycho woman and her deranged family

Is there any possibility of getting a restraining order since Liz has threatened your property? Something that says she can't be within say 100 feet of you?

I sent email to APS saying nobody has come out since my July 3rd meeting with them to tell Monty his electrical hookups are illegal nor has Code Enforcement been here.

If this is the kind of support I can expect, I'm disappointed.

On the other hand, APS did say I wouldn't really qualify as a Senior till September 4 when I turn 65. Duh.

Well, I finally managed to see my doctor today, though I thought I'd never make it. My alarm was set for 9:00 am but it didn't go off so I awoke at 10:20 am for my 11:20 am appointment. First Miracle = I was dressed in 9 minutes and out the door. Second Miracle = the bus was there waiting for me. Third Miracle = the bus only took 25 minutes to get me within 8 blocks of my doctor's office. I hoofed the last several blocks and made it inside her office by 11:07 am. My doc didn't call me in her office till 12:30 pm grrrrrrrrrrrrr

My triglycerides were a wee high but nothing to be concerned about. My A1 hemoglobin count was 7. My doc said I should aim for 6. She had no idea what was causing my extra migraines nor my dizzy spells though both have subsided in the last month

High Triglycerides is type IV hyperlipidemia. The Rx is lower carb diet and glycemic index stuff.

Same would be true for your glycohemoglobin.

+ stress and you got enough little additive triggers to finally blow a migraine.

Ralph's has a good sale on Fresh Foster's Farms Chicken this week. $.69/lb.

Roast one up, live on it a while. Eggs. Cheese.

Ban the b'fast cereal, crackers, bread, pasta and juices.

No carbohydrate should be mashed, juiced, dehydrated, minced, etc.

Carbs should be in their whole form like a piece of fruit or a treat, not sustenance.

G'luck. It can be done economically, just not as conveniently. Consider a crock pot to tenderize otherwise tough inexpensive meat. The Latino stores often have good prices as does Target.

It seems the hurrier I go, the more behinder I get - heh heh

I paid Edison over $200, $100 to Cable,Phone, Internet, $100 to water & trash.

Now Edison 'says' it wants another $150. Yeah right! I have $70 left which I was planning to eat on.

I'll call Edison and beg to see if that helps. I'll let you know what they say.

Well, I finally got ahold of Edison.

There's good news and bad news. The good is Edison erred. I owe no more this month but I do owe $164 for next month. The bad news is my swamp cooler died and it's 102 F. today. - LOL

I can live with that.

Too bad about the swamp cooler.

I have felt their effect and am all for them, if space allows.

A friend at some ranch land uses one for his 16'x32' delux army tent.

I would not recommend it for those in the current heat advisory. No extra moisture in the air, needed. Probably cause rain, or mist, or dew. Y'think?

Maybe you should get yourself one of those cardboard signs and stand on a freeway on ramp with it. They must make money doing it, or the same people wouldn't be doing it every day. Maybe, it could say, Abused elder; please help.

Something happened different today. I was awoken by 9:00 am to a hard, hards rain. By the time I was fully awake at 9:53 am, it had subsided but at least it was the first step towards ending our drought since January

It was hot and muggy and I was tired so I tried to take a nap about 7:30pm tonight. Just as I fell asleep, I heard yelling from the living room.

Liz was screaming at Jeanette for entertaining men in her bedroom. The guy is 21 and Jeanette is 16.

I so wish somebody here would call Child Protective Services and tell them a 16 year old is sexing a 21 yr old, that she stays out all night and she hasn't been to school in 3 years.

Things change - now Jeanette is sleeping with a 30 year old.

Tonight, Liz found them making love in her bed and warned her, "either you get rid of him or you get out."

Jeanette packed up her stuff and moved out. (one down, one to go) - lol

I think she'll be rather upset with this 30 year old when he insists she get a job or do housework - lol

The next few days should prove interesting
