Monty left by 6:07 pm only after I threatened to hurt his dog. Sheesh.

I slept in till 9:30 this morning to find Monty and his dog sleeping on my front porch. Monty was harassing the cleanup crew and they are afraid of his dog. I called the police and asked them to remove both the transient and his dog and I said I would press charges. I'll update after the police arrive.

Monty and dog left before police arrived.

Realtor says I'll be lucky to get $10,000 since the house is in such poor condition overall. *sigh*

The cleanup crew just left for the day, too hot to work in the heat+

Gawd, I hate confrontation. Liz was just 'demanding' the right to enter to get the rest of her stuff. I said, "I'm not letting anybody in but, I'll bring out your stuff to you."

That wasn't good enough for her. She threatened to call the police. I said, "call the police."

I'm a nervous wreck and I'm shaking all over.

I have to wonder if it would be easier to just move your possessions out and turn the deed and all the bills over to Monty and Liz. Let them have all the debts and the property and start a new clean life for yourself. It is only a thought. It might be far easier on your nerves.

I have posted a bunch of stuff regarding my work as a Wisconsin Registered Professional Engineer and The Rule of Law. There are, in my experience, some people who make and impose The Rule of Law, and there are some other people, of whom I happen to be a living example, who often experience The Rule of Law only as some vicious form of The Cruel of Law.

MacTheWolf, as I have read your recent posts and come to make some feeble sense of how you are being treated ((MISTREATED, in my view), I have not been able to reply to your posts until now because what I find The Cruel of Law has been doing to you has driven me to tears that have prevented me from posting before now.

As it prohibits mercy, The Cruel of Law relentlessly demands sacrifice of its subjects.

Yet, I invariably find that the future of humanity requires mercy, not sacrifice, if the human species is to survive its own present process of being blind and deaf to its thus far relentless drive toward unwitting self-imposed destruction.

No war on war can ever bring an end to war. No war on illegal drugs can ever bring an end to the war on drugs. No war on terrorism can ever bring an end to terrorism. No war on elder abuse can ever bring an end to elder abuse.

The Cruel of Law is committing elder abuse toward you, and, if you protest that abuse to the Cruel of Law, how can you intelligibly expect anything to happen other than being met with ever greater elder abuse?

I have somehow survived Horrible Abuse from The Cruel of Law. It would warm my heart if you are able to survive The Cruel of Law now being imposed upon you against your will and your conscience.

I have to stop now, it is getting difficult for me to see the computer display, tears are blurring my vision.

The cleanup crew finished cleaning the trash out of the backyard and the driveway. Now they are tossing the contents of mom's bedroom, the living room, dining room, kitchen and some stuff from my den

The cleanup crew left for the day because of the heat. They'll return Monday. Except for the yellow grass and an overgrowth of weeds, my back yard looks like it did 4 years ago. Well almost, I had a garage once.

One thing I've noticed about my new solitude is that my sleeping/waking habits have changed. When I had boarders, I was up till 2-5 am and would sleep in till past noon.

Now, I hit the sack by 1 am at the latest and am up by 8 am or earlier.

At 3 am my outside backdoor was forced open and I heard two guys talking. I phoned the police. Police showed up, found nobody.

Ugh - no sleep rest of the night. I'm waiting for the cleanup crew

On the minus side, no cleanup crew so far.

On the plus side, a wonderful woman was just here. She was from Code Enforcement and was here to compliment me on how much better my property looks. She told me to call her if I needed help. She extended the cleanup effort to 30 more days. She expressed sympathy for my past and current situation

My realtor finally called. Well, the good news is that I might get as much as $30,000 for my house.

On the minus side, my realtor suggested I move into a trailer. The one he described was about 10 x 25. Are you freaking kidding me, in less than 240 square feet I'd go nucking frutz in hours.

He also suggested I let him invest my $30,000 and he'd pay me the interest amounting to about $300 a month. Any ideas from anybody? I don't like this idea either but I could use advice.

One thing I have been impressed with of late is all the designs of small living spaces. Big city studio apartments, a new line of very small easy to build homes and other clever designs are very trendy right now. The homes use less utilities by being easier to heat and cool. Smaller spaces are also easier to clean. I would at least check it out. After all it will be just you and you will be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

The current bank and bond rate would pay about $300 a year for a $30,000 investment.

So this guy is "offering" you about 10 times the going rate. As they so often say, if

it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

I agree. He is systematically stripping and fucking you out of most of the value of your home. Get an independent agent, another firm, to give you an appraisal. Then compare and see.

Yeah. Even for Riverside county $30,000 for any kind of standing structure is much much too low.

I just checked on Zillow.com for your house. They, of course, don't know the internal condition of it, but based on the neighborhood and public records about size, date of construction and remodel, etc. they give an estimated value of $106,000. You need a better real estate agent!

I don't know the area, but in Rubidoux an empty lot goes for $55,000 on Zillow. You need to get some competitive bidding.

I know here in the UK we have free service called the citizens advice bureau , where people can get offered free legal and other advice from an independent charitable body, I seem to recall from my time spent in Chicago there is a free legal advice system that you can use especially if you are elderly or vulnerable , lawyers paid by a fund from central government or who do it for charitable reasons, look at the American Bar Association website which should point you in the right direction to obtaining a free lawyer in your area, it seems to me reading your posts having an independent lawyer looking at your deal with the realtor would be advisable before agreeing to anything.
