I would suggest you tell liz and crew they are not welcome and call the cops whenever they show up. Otherwise you'll have them taking over your apartment.
Get an order of protection if you have that the cops WILL come without it they may or maynot.

In Ohio they charge for an order of protection unless you have been assaulted. It is good to have a record of the problem but sadly I doubt his former roommates would respect it.

Well, let's hope Liz assaults me - LOL. That way I'll have grounds
I was going to bus down to the Post Office today to turn in a change of address but it was too hot. However, it might be unnecessary, I received the MOM card today sent by Jesus at my new address. Thanks to all those that signed it: Kristoff, Paolo, Cainanite, Tal, River, Ken, Uncle Flo, Pete, Daughter and a few names these old eyes didn't recognize.
Do it anyway Mac. Postal dept. might forward for a short time but long term you need to send in the change. Oh and only 1st class gets forwarded any other gets pictched not bad for junk mail but that includes and perodicals etc.

At the moment, I'm awaiting a call from my realtor. He wants to meet me at my bank so I can give him an extra $950: I borrowed $550 from him to pay my rent before my money came through. Plus I owe him $300 for the deposit and $95 for a miscellaneous bill to the city.
Should Macwolf have a trust fund or something else done, to help protect his money in the bank from being taken by forgery or such? It sounds like he had a realtor and lawyer that looked out for his best interest. But now that Liz has found your new place, she also knows you have money from selling the house. I fear that she will try to get bank account numbers or more, or steal your computer. You should also get acquainted with some senior citizens groups, or free services(not sure you have that there) to help you get to these places. You need more social life than just us, too.
Liz was knocking on my door about 40 minutes ago but I never answered the door. She was yelling that she wanted the cat carrier. She returned about four times knocking each time on my door and all my windows. After I saw her go out the gate, I put the cat carrier outside my door.
It's definitely time I buy a padlock for that gate.

I had my eye exam today. The doc says my eyes are improving. The cost of the exam plus three new pairs of glasses was $1,240 - ouch
Order online from Zenni for a hell of a lot less. I have a set I paid $45 for - full pop-bottle-bottom lenses, work and fit great. All you need is a prescription and the distance between pupils. Everything lense crafters does is grossly over-priced.
I just returned from grocery shopping in my old barrio, busing there and back; there's no other grocery closer.
Liz's daughter, Jeanette, found me on Facebook and tried asking me for $20.00. I replied that I have a new life, no longer give out loans from those who never pay me back and especially no loans to a young woman who has stolen from me over the years. Was my language a little too strong for Facebook? Just curious.

Why not call it like you see it? Call her out for all to see and be warned by. Good on you.

The first thing I would do is change my Facebook privacy setting so she couldn't get onto my Facebook page.
I wouldn't have posted what you did. While I think it's justified, I would have put her on my personal "ignore" from this point on, and I wouldn't have responded to her no matter what she said. As pleasurable as making the comment might be, it might lead her to attempt to get even with you one way or the other, and they've proved they can be nasty.

I didn't realize Facebook had private settings. I'll go find them and set them accordingly.

I have my privacy settings set so only friends can post on my page or view my posts. I don't want any more of my personal information spread around the Internet than already is. Facebook, for me, is to communicate with friends and family. I realize some might want strangers to see their posts, but I don't.
I get my eye exam for $45.. And then it costs $100 per pair of glasses at Zenni Optical online. I get photo grey plus no line Bi-Focals, so they do cost a little more. But still is far cheaper than $1000..
"Under the Affordable Care Act, seniors and people with disabilities who receive Medi-Cal will continue to have to meet asset limits that can force them to deplete their savings.
Through the national health care reform law, much of which goes into effect January 1, some non-disabled people between the ages of 19 and 64 whose income isn't more than 138 percent of the federal poverty guideline are exempt from the caps. "
Try to make sure the sale of your house doesn't cause you problems.
I went to Walgreens today to purchase a new test meter, test strips and SafeTPro lancets. They had to order the lancets which should be in tomorrow. They're the only brand I'll use to test my blood sugar.
Well, I called and nobody seemed able to tell me if the SafeTPro lancets came in. Theoretically, they will call me back in a few hours.
