Always best to try to work something out with your landlords rather than complaining to some authority. They can always find a reason to evict you if you piss them off. I think you should do some kissing ass, turn down your heat some maybe. I've seen many tenants take the hard approach with their landlords. All of them ended up on the street or having to move to another place. As soon as I saw that you reported him, I said to myself, "Looks like Wolfie is going to be moving soon." Unless you're looking to move, you probably better turn down your heat.

Not true. That SOB needs to be put out of the rental business. Anyone who is so insensitive to dismiss the unique needs of a senior citizen, then to threaten to evict for a senior citizen tenant neither deserves, nor should be permitted to operate rental property. No matter where this is located, at least this is a case of age discrimination in fair equal housing, and perhaps abuse and neglect of a person within a vulnerable population of citizens.
If The landlord doesn't want the cost or less profit headache of providing heat, he should pay to separate the utility meters and have unit tenants pay for the heat, or better yet, sell the property and get out of the rental housing business.

I had a virus that's going around. They advised taking Robitussen when I get paid and it would go away on its own in a few days to two weeks.

The beagle disappeared yesterday and reappeared on my porch last night. He was gone again today. Oh well.
I saw my doc today and he ordered blood tests for my A1C.

Someone is taking THE BEAGLE in during the day and putting him out at night - possibly the lady Beagle owner. --FLO--

This Sunday two Mormon missionaries are coming by to visit me. Should I be worried?

They only want money. Tell 'em to hit the road.

Every two months or so I run into a small problem: where to dispose of my used insulin syringes. The pharmacies here no longer take them. Fire stations supposedly take them but there is not one close to me. Today I planned on giving them to the local hospital: I figured they could put them in their huge medical waste container. However, the hospital said NO. In desperation, I asked some paramedics there if they knew of a place and they said, "Yes, we'll dispose of them for you." Hooray.

I have good news or bad news, depending on your point of view. Within two weeks I will have been baptized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I have some young missionaries living close to me and they continued to try to involve me in conversation. At first I politely told them my walks with my dog are my times of peace and contemplation. This did not work so I would just ignore them. They did not let up and one day I acted a little crazy and told them I was getting a restraining order against them. They claimed they were a different group and I had not spoken to them before. I then told them "well hell you all dress alike". Post a picture in your new magic underwear.

I walked to my pharmacy in 100 degree heat and found out my two prescriptions will cost a whopping 48 cents.

Rats, I was looking forward to seeing my doctor today. The DR. office just called and said they lost all electrical power. They will call me Monday or Tuesday to reschedule my appointment.

Approximately 8 years ago I was still living in mom's house but I was stupid enough to let Monty, Liz and Jeanette move in.
I moved into my apartment on June ?? 2013. Wow, I've been here 4 years without Monty, Liz, Jeanette, etc

Bad Luck hit today: I was cooking some brown rice in my electric skillet and the pan slipped out of my hand, hit the floor ruining my dinner and breaking off a leg of the frying pan. Where the leg broke off, there is a hole in my pan. Now I have no way to cook my meals Damnit.
