You guys sound like so much fun I hope the court releases me from jury duty. This may be the most photographed MoM if I can make it.
Actually you should hope that you get picked early so that when you get interviewed you can say that you believe in castration across the board for all offenses

Hmmm..... I never suspected for a minute that Randy might be lying. What tipped you off?
Ohh he's lying...well that's no fun at all...bummer...he sounded like a fun roomie...What a great sense of adventure offering himself up like that . And I would have proudly been his roomie and done whatever he needed...almost anyway.

the disgruntled domestic
chilli-
I don't know if Randy is lying or not. That's just what OBB said. For all I know Randy may just be giving fair warning. It does sound like an adventure either way

Jema-
I don't believe a word of what OBB said. I think Randy is telling the absolute truth, and I appreciate his honesty and complete disclosure. I will contact Randy and see if I can book a room with him.

Last time I got called for regular jury duty, I just ask em where the gallows is.... Grand jury? Tell em to come on, bring on the politicians we're gonna get.

u mean people actually live in the Deep South?
I was there once.
And you survived? With the
heat? You're so sweet I thought you'd have melted....
Well, sweating is a way of life here, but it's not too crowded...and we do get the Gulf winds.
Dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it...
I remember the last time I was in LA, it was HOT! I don't really remember sweating though. Somebody needs to live here...the continental shelf needs balance. There's a little more weight on that side.
I am so sorry I will not be able to make it this year as we will be in Canada that week but my thoughts will be with you.I know we do not always agree on things and Jema is probably mad at me but I care about her and the rest of you.It is just that we have made these plans last summer and we have been envited for Thanksgiving YES A CANADIAN THANKSGIVING.

Up here at the continental divide is the place to have a mom. We would have to make sure that half of us eats, sleeps, pisses and shits on each side. Remember though that the side you piss on is where the water flows later on and you'll be drinking it. It is a bit windy and nippy up here though.

Go ahead and organize one. I'd play hell to get there. I love Colorado, and especially enjoyed my year in Denver. It would be a good excuse to go back and visit.
After California, Colorado is my favorite state. I like Denver and I love the Rockies. I doubt that 'I'd pay hell to get there' as Kristoff states. Of course, he may have connections in Hell I don't know about!
I would, however, try to find a low airfare to attend. Even with the California MoM, if it weren't for my being right in the middle of changing everything for my new legal name, I might have been able to arrange something.
I look forward to attending MoM, and meeting some like minded people. I also could use a computer buddy to show me how to use this thing mo betta. I would like to photo and post on BME. It would be great to meet someone that could come over to the house and give me a hand. "Possibly, roomate wanted." At any rate, I'll be booking a room for MoM later today and can go double occupancy if anyone wants to share a room. stevenoo I look forward to meeting you all there.
I want everyone who attends the West MoM to have the best time of their lives. This will be the first MoM that Bob and I have not been in attendance in. As gas prices get higher and higher and the economy goes down more and more, I sure our attenance will be less and less because of that costs and that saddens me. But you all have the best time. My thoughts will be with every one of you.
The first scheduled event for the MoM will be a wine and cheese (and other goodies) gathering in the motel room that Mac-the-Wolf and I will be sharing (3 pm on Friday, October 17).
We will later that evening all adjourn as a group for dinner. Saturday will be a day in the park.
If you are interested in attending the gathering near San Diego and have not yet sent a <Private Message> to PLIX to get on the mailing list, you need to do so immediately. You will receive a JPEG map to the gathering sites and a letter containing details about the when and where.
Another "mass mailing" will be going out soon with cell phone numbers and other last minute information for attendees.
I want to wish everyone a gret time as MoMs always are. I will miss spending times with friends and meeting new ones. I look forward to reading the postings from MoM attendees.
A few days ago I sent out an e-mail asking for responses. I have received responses from some, but others have yet to respond. I ask that you please do so ASAP, even if you are not coming, so I know how many people to expect. If you don't confirm that you are coming, you may find yourself having to go hungry if there is not enough food
It's way too early for this! 6am, and I am sitting on the plane.. The first of two flights that will get me there! YAY! I can't wait to see everyone! Smooches!
